Happy July! For those of you blessed to be old enough, do you remember how you celebrated America’s 200th birthday in 1976? On the 4th, our family, along with about a quarter of a million other people spent the day on the steps under the St. Louis Arch. I remember listening to the symphony and seeing a hovering helicopter which blew the waters of the Mississippi in a powerful display. The night culminated in the biggest and loudest fireworks display I had ever seen, launched from a barge in the middle of the river.

How will you celebrate this year? I pray it will be a day filled with memories you can cherish and share, thanking God first and foremost for the blessings showered upon us as well and the grace and mercy that overflow from His goodness and love. Please pray that God blesses our efforts to share His life saving Word, and allows America to remain a country where we can freely worship and share the Gospel with one and all.
