On the Feast Day of St. Mark the Evangelist we spread Gods Gospel and Charity by handing out 150 lunches to the marginalized and less fortunate in the Dothan area. Thank you to Dothan Catholic Social Services for leading, ACOM students for their faithful participation and member of St. Columba and KoFC 6727 for being the backbone of the event. More and more people thank us for this ministry every time we go out and the charity and smiles we find throughout Dothan truly show Gods work through the Grace he has given us ❤️.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this year’s Lenten fish fries at St. Columba such a beautiful success!

From the knights who gave their time and energy preparing and serving the meals (and the wives and widows who made delicious deserts 🤤)and to everyone who came out in fellowship—your support truly made these Friday evenings special. It was a blessing to gather as one community during this Lenten season, sharing not only food but faith, friendship, and joy.

May God bless each of you for your generosity and dedication. We are so grateful to be part of such a strong and faithful parish family.

Until next time—thank you, and God bless!

Thank you to Saint Columba for your abundant generosity toward Wiregrass Emergency Pregnancy Service (WEPS).
Your donations are doing more than just filling shelves; they are providing hope and tangible help to women choosing life. This support truly embodies our mission to cherish and protect life at all stages!
Also a great thanks to all those that prayed the rosary for the unborn this past Sunday, please continue to pray for the Emergency Pregancy Services that are looking into funding for an ultrasound for those women in the Atmore and Brewton area❤️.

A huge thank you to our St. Columba parish family for showing up in such a big way! Because of your generosity, we were able to deliver 300 books to the inmates at the Dothan jail, giving them a much-needed constructive outlet and feeling of connection to the outside world. Your kindness is a perfect example of faith in action and charity to those on the margins.
“I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me." — Matthew 25:36

Thank you for being the light of Christ for our community! 🕊️📚

The Angel Tree was a wonderful blessing and success! St. Columba was able to provide gifts to 150 children giving around 400 presents. The parish spread their charity and mercy to children like little Javier (and his siblings) who was recently diagnosed with leukemia and just got back from Birmingham and another family of 4 children who lost their mother last year and were in foster care❤️. Thank you to Greg and Kim Hall, recent converts who spearheaded the event, leading in faith and ensuring every child was provided for! And a special thanks to all the volunteers who set up, sorted and handed out gifts today. Finally thank you Saint Columba for being that small miracle for 150 children and continuing to be a cornerstone in charity to the Wiregrass area ❤️ God Bless everyone this Christmas season and please continue to allow Christ’s love to shine through you!
