Freedom Through the Finished Work of the Cross

Today’s Scripture — Galatians 2:20 (KJV)

“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me.”

Good morning, my friends! Happy and blessed Monday!

As we begin this new week, remember that true freedom comes through surrendering our lives to Jesus Christ.

Sometimes we want God to change our circumstances while we continue holding on to our old attitudes, habits, pride, and unforgiveness.

But Jesus did not die on the cross simply to make our lives more comfortable. He died to redeem us from sin and give us new life in Him!

When Jesus declared, “It is finished,” He completed the work of redemption. We cannot earn what He has already accomplished through His sacrifice.

Now, as believers, we are called to surrender our will, thoughts, and desires to Him daily.

Remember, my friends: Being crucified with Christ means our old sinful life no longer has the right to rule over us.

Don’t allow pride, anger, or yesterday’s failures to control your life today.

Let Jesus Christ live through you. Allow His love to guide your words, His truth to renew your mind, and His grace to strengthen your walk.

The more we surrender to Christ, the more His character is revealed in our lives!

Today’s Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for another beautiful day and a new week. Thank You for the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. Search our hearts and help us surrender every area of our lives to You. Remove pride, bitterness, and unforgiveness. Teach us to walk in humility, love, and obedience to Your Word. May Christ be glorified in everything we say and do today. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

Stay encouraged, my friends! Remember, our victory is not found in our own strength but in Jesus Christ, who loved us and gave Himself for us.

Until next time, may the grace, mercy, and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Have a blessed Monday!

Today’s Scripture — Matthew 5:5 (NKJV)

“Blessed are the meek, For they shall inherit the earth.”

Good morning, my friends!

As we continue this month of spiritual freedom and deliverance, remember that meekness is not weakness. It is strength surrendered to God.

Jesus teaches us that true blessing comes not through pride, anger, or trying to control others, but through humility and submission to God.

Sometimes our greatest battle is not with the enemy around us, but with the pride, anger, and unforgiveness within our own hearts.

Jesus Himself demonstrated perfect meekness. Though He had all authority, He humbled Himself and willingly went to the cross for our salvation.

Through His finished work, we receive forgiveness and the grace to live a transformed life.

Remember, my friends: True spiritual strength is not found in controlling others, but in allowing Jesus Christ to rule our hearts.

Today’s Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for the example of Jesus Christ. Remove pride, anger, and bitterness from our hearts. Teach us to walk in humility, patience, and love. Help us surrender our will to Yours and live in the freedom Jesus purchased for us at the cross. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

Stay encouraged, my friends! Meekness is not weakness. A humble heart surrendered to Jesus is a heart through which God can work. Until next time, God bless you!

RULING OVER OUR THOUGHTS

“We take every thought captive to obey Christ.”
— 2 Corinthians 10:5

Not every thought that enters your mind should be accepted. Fear, suspicion, anger, self-pity, discouragement, or the desire to give up can become weapons the enemy uses against us.

Test every thought by the truth of Christ.
Does it agree with God’s Word?
Does it draw me closer to Jesus?
Does it produce the character of Christ?

If not, reject it and resist the devil.

You don’t have to entertain every thought that knocks at the door of your mind.

“Any thought that does not please Christ can draw me away from Him.”

“Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” — James 4:7

I pray that the Lord Jesus, will help us to take every thought into captivity and fill our minds with His truth.

Friends, let’s encourage one another to guard our hearts and minds and keep our thoughts focused on Christ. If this message encouraged you today, share it with someone who may need the reminder. May the Lord fill your heart with His peace and your mind with His truth. Have a blessed day!
