As your making your summer plans, we hope that you’re plans include SUMMERFEST 2024 at ASCEND Church!

We invite you and your family to our next community event! It will be an afternoon full of fun, including: games, bounce house, crafts, snacks, and so much more! The best part, the entire event is FREE!*

We are taking a collection for to donate non-perishable food items to their food pantry which serves over 200 families in need each week. There will be clearly marked collection bins at the event for you to drop your donation. We appreciate your generosity in advance!

TEAM SPOTLIGHT // Meet Andrew

Andrew was born and raised on Long Island, NY and is currently a student of Farmingdale State College pursuing a degree in Architecture.

Andrew is passionate about serving the local church any way he can, and has served in many areas of ministry including leading youth and young adults ministry. Andrew currently serves as our Tech Team Leader overseeing audio and visual for Sunday services and special events.

Always willing to lend a hand, in his spare time, you can catch Andrew playing endless rounds of board games with friends.

We are so grateful for Andrew’s servant heart and positive attitude which he brings to our team. If you are interested in serving in the Production Ministry, Andrew would love to help you get connected 😉

Rebecca was born and raised on Long Island. Rebecca, who is currently pursuing a master’s degree from the University at Buffalo, is a licensed special education teacher within the Half Hollow Hills school district, serving the surrounding community.

Rebecca is passionate about encouraging children to know and follow Jesus from an early age. As our Kids Ministry Leader, Rebecca oversees the Sunday morning curriculum and ensures that children have a positive, safe, and educational experience when attending our ASCEND Kids programs.

Always ready to greet you with a smile, in her spare time, Rebecca enjoys hiking and reading.

We are so grateful for Rebecca’s dedication, passion and creativity which she brings to our team. If you are interested in serving in the kids ministry, Rebecca would love to help you get plugged in.
