The March of Saint Pius X, Hymn of the Fraternity

The SSPX celebrates today the feast of its holy patron, chosen by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre as the model and protector of his priestly work.

Pope of the Eucharist and the catechism, intrepid defender of the faith against modernism, Saint Pius X dedicated his pontificate to the restoration of all things in Christ, according to the motto he had chosen: Instaurare omnia in Christo.

The new verses of this march were sung for the first time in Écône, during the episcopal consecrations of July 1st last. Until now, the March of Saint Pius X could be heard in the live broadcast of that historic day. It is now published separately, accompanied below by its lyrics.

Saint Pius X, pray for the Church and for the Fraternity that bears your name.

📢 Parking Reminder for Queen of Angels Parishioners

A friendly reminder to all Queen of Angels parishioners regarding parking:

For many years, AutoZone has generously allowed our parishioners to use their parking lot, and we are very grateful for their kindness and generosity as our parish has continued to grow.

However, AutoZone has asked that we no longer use their property for church parking. We kindly ask everyone to respect their request.

We are blessed to now have new property directly behind the church, which is available for our parishioners to use for parking. Please make use of this area rather than parking at AutoZone.

⚠️ Please be aware: AutoZone has advised that vehicles parked on their property may be towed at the vehicle owner’s expense.

We sincerely appreciate AutoZone for allowing us to use their parking for so many years. ❤️ Thank you, everyone, for helping us maintain a good relationship with our neighbors and for your cooperation.

After praising God, we recall our own misery; each of the three invocations is repeated thrice, in honor of the Holy Trinity.
The Kyrie is the long cry of our wounded nature, like the cry of the sick and the crippled along the path of Jesus, trying to draw His attention to their misery and obtain His pity.
We throw ourselves on the mercy of God, full of love and free of fear now that we have acknowledged our sins and our desire to be healed.

A Blessed Weekend at Queen of Angels Church

It was a very full and blessed weekend at Queen of Angels as we celebrated 50 years of our parish, the Consecration of our church, and the Sacrament of Confirmation.

Fr. Purdy and the Dickinson Priory were honored to welcome His Excellency, Bishop Marc Hanappier, to Queen of Angels from July 30 through August 2 for these very special occasions.

Thursday, July 30 — Benediction
His Excellency, Bishop Hanappier, began the weekend with Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.

Friday, July 31 — Vigil of the Dedication
The solemn Ceremony of the Sealing of the Relics was followed by Matins of the Martyrs.

Saturday, August 1 — Day of Dedication
The Dedication of Queen of Angels Church was solemnly celebrated in a beautiful ceremony lasting approximately four hours.

Sunday, August 2 — Confirmations
The weekend concluded with the Sacrament of Confirmation, followed by a Pontifical Solemn High Mass.

We are very grateful to Our Lord for the many graces received throughout these days. It was a great joy to see so many faithful come together for these memorable ceremonies that have been handed down to us.

A heartfelt thank you to the many hands and souls who worked, prayed, sacrificed, and gave generously of their time and talents to prepare for these celebrations. So much work happens quietly behind the scenes, and we are truly grateful for every person who helped make these days possible.

May Our Lord reward your generosity and sacrifice and multiply the fruits of your good work.

May He continue to bless Queen of Angels Church, our priests, our families, and all who enter through her doors seeking to know, love, and serve Him.

Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam!
For the Greater Glory of God.
