The Nexus Institute An informational page for The NEXUS Institute at Grand View University. Our goal is to raise theological leaders for the future.

The NEXUS Institute is 3 day Theology and Leadership program for high school students who have completed their 9th grade year. It involves 3 days of theology and leadership community at Grand View University, where students will learn theology and build community as they explore their identity and vocation. The program is followed by available ongoing mentoring, project work, and community sharing

through the rest of the year. Students will be encouraged and empowered to play their role as innovative leaders in their local churches or communities, and to explore the possibilities for theological leadership in college and beyond. The Nexus Institute is part of the campus ministry and theology department at Grand View University in Des Moines, Iowa. It is also part of HSYTI (High School Youth Theology Institutes) and is made possible through a grant from the Lilly Endowment.
