Who We Are
Journey Church is a Church of the Nazarene – a community of Christians following Jesus Christ. We aim to preach, teach, study and most of all live the good news about Jesus Christ in a lively and loving atmosphere. We offer a wide variety of activities and ministries for children, youth, young adults, adults and seniors. We are Welcoming
You’ll find that we are an easy church to visit.

You’ll be welcomed but not overwhelmed. People here will talk with you but not at you. Our facilities may not be what you typically think of when you visit a church. We don’t have a grand building or stained glass windows and an organ. Instead we have a clean, bright, light functional space. This is because for us, people are so much more important than buildings. To us, it’s the people that are the church, not the building. We are intentional about creating community – not just talking about it. Sunday mornings we have our worship service. During the week there are small groups of 8 to 15 people who meet together in people’s homes around Hudson, Derry, Manchester and Hudson. These ‘life groups’ are a great place to make friends and get known when you are ready for that. We dress casually, preach relevant practical sermons and join together in good contemporary music. Here are some more things you might want to know about us:

Children’s Program
Children are very important to us. So many of us are young families with children. So we provide first class staff providing a rich worship and learning experience for children of all ages in clean, safe bright space, with age-appropriate materials. We use state-of the art security and paging systems so you can relax, knowing that your children are in good hands. Some parents prefer their children worship with them in the main service – and that is just fine with us too. You choose. Nursery
Each year our little church has new babies to celebrate! So Moms and babies get their own nursery space, right in the next room to the worship service. Our Nursery is staffed by church adults and as you’d expect is clean and bright. We are all about Jesus
We teach and live our lives, individually and together, driven by the life and teachings of Jesus. We believe Jesus is God, and that Jesus is alive, and that each of us can know God and live with Him at the center of our lives. Our faith is an educated, intelligent, open minded life that embraces everything good in God’s world. We encourage participation in our community, and understand that everyone is at a different place in their journey towards God. We never judge anyone, but create a positive culture by encouraging everyone to grow in their journey. We have found that as we seek God, He joins us, and as we learn from Him we grow to be more and more like Jesus. We can’t imagine a more fulfilling and exciting life. Jesus meets the deepest needs of every person – mind, soul and spirit. As Christians always have, we recognize the Bible as more than just a ‘good book’. It’s an amazing gold mine of truth about ourselves and God. As we read it, teach it and preach it, we find that God has been working in humankind all along, and is doing so today, and here. We invite you on this journey with us.

God’s plan for His children has always included family. Not just biological family. Spiritual family. The Christian life was never meant to be lived alone. That’s why Scripture constantly uses family language: brothers and sisters, children of God, heirs, adopted, the household of faith.
And every healthy family has roles.
At Journey, we have spiritual fathers and mothers helping guide and encourage others in their faith. We have brothers and sisters walking side by side through victories, struggles, laughter, grief, and growth. We have those who carry years of wisdom and prayer covering others faithfully. And we have people who are brand new in their walk with Jesus learning what it means to follow Him.
This is discipleship.
Not just information transfer. Relationship formation.
Church was never meant to be a place we simply attend. It’s a family we belong to.

Sundays are never just another gathering. They are not just a box we check on our calendar. We come together as the body with intention.
Sundays are filled with worship, laughter, prayer, a message from the word of God, truth, and moments that remind us God is still moving in people’s lives. 🤍
One of the best parts of Sundays is simply doing life together, celebrating moments, making connections, and creating memories as a church family. Don’t let this only be a Sunday experience. Carry the joy, the worship, the encouragement, and the presence of God with you into every single day of the week.
So thankful for every face that stepped in front of the camera today!
