We’re just ONE WEEK away from Beacon’s 5th Birthday Party!

Join us on Sunday, September 13th at 9:00 & 10:30 AM as we celebrate 5 years of God’s faithfulness and all that He has done in the life of our church since we launched in 2021.

And we’re celebrating by giving back! For every person in attendance, Beacon will donate $5 to Orchard Group, our church planting partner, helping us be part of reaching more people and planting more churches.

Come celebrate with us as we look back with gratitude and look ahead with excitement for all God has in store.

It is a very human instinct: taking the best of what we have and using it to make our own lives just a little bit more comfortable, while the bigger things we are called to build together get left on the back burner.

This week, our guest speaker, Drew Thurman from our church planting partner, Orchard Group, shared this fascinating detail from the book of Haggai. The people were using luxury, imported wood (originally meant for building God's house) to panel and decorate their own homes instead.

It is a relatable reality check for all of us. Are we using our best time, energy, and resources just to upgrade our own comfort, or are we actively investing them to love generously and build community?

School is back, summer vacations are over, and it’s a great time to take your next step at Beacon.

We’re looking for volunteers in all areas of our church—from those who can smile and greet people at the door to those who love singing, playing an instrument, serving kids, helping with production, and so much more!

Sometimes we wander off track. We get distracted, we put other things first, and then we wonder why we feel so disconnected and exhausted.

But God doesn't meet our drift with shame or frustration. He meets us with His presence.

No matter what you've been through or how far off course you feel, His posture toward you is still invitation: "I am with you."

You don't have to carry it all today.

This week we welcomed back Drew Thurman, a wonderful friend of Beacon Church, to share a message on our newest series, For Such a Time as This: From Our Plans to God's Purpose.

Drew took us on a journey through Haggai, an deep and sometimes overlooked book in the Bible about minor prophet, Haggai. Stay tuned for clips from his message later this week.
