Our final Ignite before Summer Break is TONIGHT. Drop off on the gravel by the SRCC Soccer Fields. We will provide pizza and games to celebrate an awesome year of learning about God together.

We invite you and your family to our “5th Grade Send Off” next Wednesday, May 6 at the Powerhouse. From 5-6pm, we will serve dinner and refreshments. We will also invite the Middle School youth leaders to be a part of a “panel” for kids and parents to ask any questions they may have. Our SR Kids Staff and 5th Grade Teachers will also have a gift for your child and a time of prayer. Afterwards, families are welcome to stay for Impact from 6-7:30pm. We hope to celebrate your child being part of the SR Kids Family while also excitingly sending them off to Student Ministry! Please register on our website to let us know the number attending and if you need a gluten free option.

As a graduating 5th Grader, your child is invited to Maranatha Bible Camp in Everton, MO July 19-23. The cost is $325 and registration information is on the South Rock Events page. It is a fun-packed, memorable week for your child to encounter God and connect with each other!

Happy Work Anniversary to the legend Sarah Slayton! I can’t imagine a more perfect person for the role of Kids Minister. She is an incredible person, boss, coworker, and friend! She goes above and beyond with intentionality to make the Bible come to life for kiddos AND adults! (Even lighting her own hand on fire to teach some preteens) Her creativity knows no bounds! God was not done with her and He still isn’t. Her testimony and all she has done for SR is evidence of God’s faithfulness, sovereignty, and mighty good plans. It’s so fun to watch her trust Him in all things. We love you Sarah!!
