👉 “God at Work in Vienna – CPV Austria Meeting Report (March 6–9, 2026)”

With deep gratitude to God for everything, from March 6 to 9, 2026, we had the privilege of taking part in the annual meeting of CPV Austria in Vienna, representing ACCTS Ethics.

CPV Austria is a growing and emerging organization of Christian police officers who desire to live out and witness their faith in their daily service. It was truly encouraging to see how this young ministry is developing with passion, vision, and a strong commitment to being rooted in God’s Word.

During the conference, I had the honor of delivering a reflection on the life of Joseph (Genesis 37–50), offering a spiritual perspective on Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Through his journey—marked by betrayal, injustice, abandonment, and suffering—a path of healing emerged that is not only human, but deeply spiritual.

We saw how Joseph’s journey reflects a process that can also be lived out in the life of every man and woman in uniform: finding security in God even in the darkest moments, honestly facing and processing pain, and ultimately reconnecting to a greater purpose—discovering that God can transform even the deepest wounds into instruments for good.

It was especially meaningful to see how this message brought encouragement and vision to CPV Austria, strengthening the awareness that God is at work even in the most complex challenges of operational service.

We give glory to God for every word shared, every heart touched, and for the work that continues to grow. We return with renewed faith and with the certainty that the Lord walks with, sustains, and transforms the lives of those who faithfully serve Him.

Part 1. EAST AFRICAEAST AFRICA REPORT ON THE EAST AND CENTRAL AMCF REGIONAL CONFERENCE – MARCH 2026The East and Central Africa Regional Conference for 2026 took place from 2 - 4 March in Nairobi, Kenya, under the theme “Re-Awakening for Mission,” inspired by Joel 2:28.

The event was graciously hosted by MCF–Kenya at the Jumuia Conference and Training Center in Limuru. The conference brought together 60 military delegates representing USA–ACCTS, South Korea–MSO, Zimbabwe–MMI, as well as Burundi, Ethiopia, Tanzania, South Sudan, Kenya, and Uganda. The gathering provided a platform for prayer, dynamic re3ection, and strategic dialogue focused on peace in the region and revival within families.

Participants were honored to receive opening remarks from the regional AMCF Vice President, Major General (Rtd.) David Wakaalo, who provided insights on current AMCF initiatives and emphasized the urgency of spiritual revival in today’s context. The program featured a series of enriching presentations and thematic sessions. Bishop Emeritus Mwaluda of Kenya delivered the exposition on the conference theme, while Col. Rev. Granton Mwanyanya, Principal Chaplain of the Kenya Army, o>ered remarks emphasizing holistic approaches to military service. Robert Balusi, Director of Life Ministry Kenya, presented “Beyond the Barracks: A Holistic Approach to Military Life,” and Ethiopian delegates shared their experiences in resource mobilization aimed at strengthening national MCF activities. They also demonstrated remarkable faith and commitment through the ongoing multimillion-dollar Christian Centre for training, charity and conferences being developed by MCF Ethiopia, which will serve as a hub for training, charity work, and conferences mainly for MCF members, Veterans and Orphans.

East African Military Christians Gather!
As military believers gather in Nairobi, Kenya from 2–4 March for the East African AMCF Regional Conference, please join us in praying that this event will be a catalyst to equip and encourage regional men and women to live out their faith and share Christ with their fellow service members.

Pray that the presentations on military ethics—led by ACCTS Ambassadors Captains Ivan Kajuba and Jude Wandera and staff member Phil Exner—will encourage believers to continue demonstrating Christ-like integrity in all their decisions and actions.
Ask that all attendees gain the practical tools and confidence needed to mentor others within the unique cultures of their nations' armed forces. Pray for the host, the military Christian fellowship of Kenya, the regional AMCF vice president, MGen (Rtd.) David Wakaalo, and other leaders as they foster a regional network of military Christians who can support one another in their faith.
Pray that the encouragement received in Nairobi will lead to a ripple effect across all of Africa, where military members are won to Christ through the daily witness of their brothers and sisters in uniform.

Message from Dr Jeff Zust on this Friday's Ethics online training:

Greetings and Blessings to everyone! Please reserve time on your calendars for this Friday ethics training seminar.

Note that I moved the time to 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time Friday 27 Feb to try to accommodate convenient times for the most time zones.

I apologize that I had to move it to the fourth Friday in the month due to Lenten activities at my church.

The presentation this month will be Biblical Systems for Moral Reasoning and Orientation within Mission Command.

This presentation builds on the Worldview presentation from last month.

I will send out a copy of the slides to everyone prior to next Friday’s meeting.
