This Memorial Day, we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. As a parish community, we pray for those who made the ultimate sacrifice, for their families, and for all who continue to serve with courage and dedication. May God grant eternal rest to the fallen and peace to our nation.

Come, Holy Spirit! 🔥

Today we celebrate Pentecost, the day the Holy Spirit descended upon the apostles and filled them with courage and zeal to proclaim the Gospel to the world.

As the apostles were transformed by the fire of the Spirit, may our hearts also be renewed with faith and boldness to live as disciples of Christ.

Do you feel called to serve?

We invite parishioners who feel called to consider sharing their time and talents in parish ministries. The work of the Church is strengthened when each of us offers what we can in the service of others. There are many opportunities to give In His Service. Please contact the parish office if you are interested.

The Konrad Scholarship fund was established in honor of Konrad Bartels, a kindergarten student at Blessed Sacrament Catholic School when God called him home on May 11, 2018.

Konrad was deeply loved by his classmates and all who knew him. This scholarship fund was established to continue his legacy by helping families provide a faith-filled education for their children at Blessed Sacrament Catholic School.

Please consider donating to the Konrad Scholarship Fund this week in Konrad’s memory:

At Blessed Sacrament Parish, we are blessed by parishioners who live out the Gospel through acts of mercy and service. This week, we recognize Leiana Tirado whose ministry to grieving families reflects the beauty of the corporal works of mercy—the ways we care for others in their time of need and make Christ’s compassion visible.

Through her faithful work preparing funeral programs, Leiana helps families honor their loved ones with dignity and reverence, offering comfort during difficult moments. Her service is a meaningful witness to our Catholic faith in action, bringing comfort to those who mourn and reminding us that acts of mercy are at the heart of Christian discipleship.

Leiana and her husband, Jed Salvador, also provide meals often for our ministry groups, including OCIA.

We are grateful for Leiana and Jed, and for the loving way they serve our parish In His Service.

Blessed Sacrament,

Did you know May is the month of Mary? As we reflect on our Blessed Mother and her fiat, we invite you to honor the many women who have nurtured, guided, and loved with a mother’s care.

Whether it’s your mom, a grandmother, godmother, mentor, sister, or another faithful witness in your life, take a moment to thank them for the gift they are today!

Mary, our Mother, pray for us.
