Chicks for Christ Chicks for Christ (formerly Hesed Egg Ministry) started in 2012 at Shiloh Field Community Garden. A Our coop houses just about 100 laying hens.

Chicks for Christ was started with the mission to do what Jesus asks us to do. Matthew 25:35 tell us plainly, "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in." We are to not run away from those who need or turn our back on one person that might need help. Jesus asks us to serve as He served, love as He lov

es, and give of our self as He gave. Our ministry has serveral opportunities to help serve the community and wonderful folks of Denton, Texas. We have an amazing coop and flock of chickens at Shiloh Garden. Chicks for Christ is so thankful to God and His church for allowing us to serve His people and feed those in need. We would love for you to join us in this mission by donating egg cartons, feed, and most importantly your prayers.
