We drove through beautiful forests and rolling hills to visit our sister church, Faith Baptist Church, in Oconomowoc. We presented our ministry on reaching and equipping the Deaf in the Midwest during the Bible study hour and I preached a challenge on bringing individuals to Jesus to a receptive congregation during the worship service. Pastor Anderson and his wife welcomed our family to their house for a meal and fellowship afterwards.

Pastor Hudson and Westside Baptist Church warmly welcomed us to Janesville to present our missionary work. It was a blessing to be in the home church of the Schwalbes (both parents and son/daughter in law), missionaries to the Deaf in another country. We appreciate the opportunity to fellowship with Pastor Hudson, his wife, and his daughter during a meal after the worship service.

We had a great deputation meeting at Calvary Baptist Church in Sauk City, Wisconsin. Pastor Hoffman and Calvary people were a blessing to us. A Deaf lady from the Madison area came to the church.

Pastor Dan Stertz invited us to drive to Hudson, WI, to present our ministry to Bible Baptist Church. The drive was beautiful and we appreciate the beauty that Wisconsin has! The church was a great blessing to us. We appreciate the opportunity to get to know Pastor Dan and Pastor Ben, their wives, and their children during meals.

We drove to Oregon last Sunday. Don't worry, it is in Illinois, only an hour and 15 minutes away!

We presented our ministry to the congregation. I preached in two services. The church people provided delicious meal between the services! We thank God for raising up Pastor Snow and Mrs. Snow to minister to the people in Oregon for the last 6 years!

We look forward to presenting at Bible Baptist Church in Hudson, Wis. this Sunday.

Thankful for Abigail Lucero’s heart for missions and desire to reach the Deaf in the Netherlands! She’s a fellow BMM appointee on deputation. She came to the Midwest Deaf Retreat last weekend.

Thankful for this man’s faithful ministry as a pastor, missionary, and evangelist for so many years! Jim Sloan is 89 years old and is still motoring for the Lord for 71 years!

Annual Midwest Deaf Retreat is always a highlight every year for us! Bethel Baptist Deaf ministry hosted this year retreat at Camp Joy in Whitewater, Wis. Pastor David Mason of Liberty Baptist Church of Columbus, Ohio, preached great messages on being wise.
