SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26, 2026 - Please join us for our Friends of the Poor Walk through DeKalb's historic district and downtown.
Our 1.25-mile route will begin and end at the St. Mary Church parking lot, follow sidewalks along Fourth St, Lincoln Hwy and First St, and not require crossing any busy streets. Registration is FREE. Donations are greatly appreciated. Early registrants can receive a commemorative Walk tee shirt on the day of the event.

The total is growing and so is our gratitude! 🎉

After adding additional processed donations today, the new preliminary Give DeKalb County Grand Total is:

✨ $2,863,852 ✨

This record-breaking year shows the power of generosity united in support of impactful nonprofits. Because of thousands of donors, nonprofits across DeKalb County will have more resources to serve, support, uplift, and strengthen local communities.

To every donor, nonprofit, Community Partner, Media Sponsor, volunteer, ambassador, and cheerleader: THANK YOU!

Additional donations will be added to the site next week. Stay tuned for the Final Grand Total, anticipated on May 21.

MORE Blessings! Thank you and bless you for generously supporting St. Vincent de Paul through Give DeKalb County 2026! The Grand Total isn’t final yet—there may still be some donations tallies and the bonus pool will be added to the grand totals.

So far, SVDP has received $59,301.00 from 94 GDC donors!!! (last year our total was $39,328.04) AND a portion of the BONUS POOL estimated to be around $4,000.00 will be added to our total!

The Grand Total isn’t final yet—donations postmarked by May 7th are still arriving and will be added to the grand totals. We’re so grateful for your generosity—thank you again!
