🚫 SNAP Myth: “I applied once and was denied, so I can’t try again.”

✅ Fact: Being denied once doesn’t mean you’ll never qualify! Many applications are denied because of missing paperwork. 📄 Submitting complete documents can make a big difference.

SNAP eligibility rules and income limits change every year. If your situation has changed, you may now qualify!

Don’t miss out on the support you deserve—reapply today.

🚨 SCAM ALERT: WARRANT CALLS & BITCOIN PAYMENTS 🚨

Scammers are posing as police officers, sheriff’s deputies, and court officials, claiming you have a warrant and must pay immediately to avoid arrest.

They may say you missed jury duty or a court appearance, then direct you to a Bitcoin ATM or send you a QR code for payment.

⚠️ Rhome Police Department—or any legitimate law enforcement agency—will NEVER tell you to send Bitcoin, cryptocurrency, or gift cards to clear a warrant or avoid arrest.

Scammers can make caller ID display a real agency’s phone number and may use actual officers’ names. Don’t let that fool you.

If you receive one of these calls:

✅ Hang up.
✅ Do not send money or share personal information.
✅ Call the agency directly using its publicly listed number—not a number the caller provides.

Already sent money? Save your receipts, QR codes, messages, and transaction information. Contact local law enforcement and file a report at www.ic3.gov.

Please share this warning and talk with your loved ones. A quick conversation could prevent someone from losing their savings.
