What a beautiful evening with our friends at CrossRoads Church - Decatur, Texas! 💜
We had the privilege of spending the evening with a room full of people who came ready to learn more about Refuge for Women North Texas, the realities of trafficking and exploitation in our community, and how they can come alongside the women we serve.
Our Community Engagement Coordinator, Esther Oppong, was joined by Lakysha Bryan and Melissa Fairchild from our Emergency Stabilization program, who shared more about the important work happening each day as women find safety, stability, and support at Refuge.
And before the evening ended, the CrossRoads community gathered around our team and prayed over Refuge, our residents, our staff, and the work God has entrusted to us. What a gift. 🙏🏾💜
As we continue building relationships, resources, and community throughout Wise County, we are especially grateful for CrossRoads Church and the way they have become an anchor for Refuge in this community; opening their doors, making connections, and helping more people discover how they can be part of this work.
Thank you, CrossRoads, for welcoming us so warmly, for wanting to learn, and for standing alongside Refuge in both prayer and action. We are grateful for your partnership and excited to see what God continues to build in Wise County! 💜
