Today We celeberate The Dormition of the Theotokos . It is a major feast celebrated on August 15 by Eastern Orthodox, Eastern Catholic, and Oriental Orthodox Christians. It commemorates the "falling asleep" (death), resurrection, and bodily assumption of the Virgin Mary into heaven by her Son, Jesus Christ.

Antioch Patriarch and the priest of Orthodox Rome John X stressed the depth of the relationship that unites the Antioch Church in Romania as a church and a people. His speech came at the reception of the Romanian Embassy in Syria Rado Guimbotsan and Consul Christian Yuto at the Patriarchal House in Damascus. And during the meeting, it was a Horizon tour discussing the general situation and the issues of the hour.
