To the one who looks in the mirror today and doesn’t like what you see, Jesus LOVES you.

Here’s a suggestion…do a bit more noticing today. Pay attention to the small, hidden things. And at the end of the day, sit down and write down all the ways you saw God’s love for you displayed.

Maybe it’ll be through a small provision, kind words, simplicity found in nature, a scripture verse that pops off the page, the simple fact he gave you taste buds to enjoy food or ears to enjoy music, or some other “every day grace”….His love for you is evident.

Look up. Call upon Him. The love your eternal, steadfast Father has for you is endless!

In our newsletter being sent out later today, we will talk about rightly orienting our hearts and minds to God while living in a loud, opinionated, oftentimes divided society.

If you’ve grown weary from the constant influx of information being placed before your attention, it’s time to stop scrolling and create moments of stillness in which to meet with the Lord! Time with Him is the remedy to a multitude of aches!

A small break from our usual spiritual formation posts to simply say THANK YOU, because verbal gratitude is due!

Thank you to Destiny Youth for serving on our 920 IMPACT trip and for running Kids Summer Jam this week. You served tirelessly and with so much joy!

Thank you pastor Tom and Lisa Barrett & Pastor Ben and Hannah Nelson for your leadership in this week’s happenings, and thank you to SO many of you from our congregation who served with us this week, too! We see all of you and are endlessly grateful for the ways you love others! From serving food to sitting with rambunctious kids (and everything in between) so many of you were a blessing this week!

The first Kids Summer Jam in our new building is in the books, and our hearts are brimming with thankfulness and new memories to cherish!
