Unitarian Universalist Church of Davis The Unitarian Universalist Church of Davis (UUCD) is a vibrant community with over 300 congregants, led by Interim Minister Rev. Angeline C. Jackson.

The Unitarian Universalist Church of Davis is a spiritual community in Davis, California, with actions based on respectful conversation, receptive listening, and openhearted presence. We live our values by affirming and promoting the Principles and Purposes adopted by the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) and drawing on the Living Tradition. Composer, guitarist, and singer Jim Scott will return to perform at UUCD on Friday, April 17 at 7pm. Sugested donation: $20.

Jim brings a warmth and humor with his jazz/world music-influenced songs. Jim’s songs are included in the UU Hymnbooks, and he has visited more than 700 UU churches over four decades.

A co-creator of the "Green Sanctuary" program for churches to become more sustainable, Jim also compiled and arranged the "Earth and Spirit Songbook."

This nonprofit prepares young adults who are on the autism spectrum or neurodiverse to build a strong sense of self, develop an enhanced social capacity, and create a life of increased social and economic independence.

One hundred percent of the plate collected on the second and fourth Sundays goes to the recipient of the month.

Johnson described herself as a gay person, a transvestite, and a drag queen. She was a pivotal figure in the Stonewall Uprising and trans rights.

As part of Stewardship Month, Rita Sahai, an acclaimed musician and teacher of Hindustani (North Indian classical) music will play a mini-concert in our sanctuary on Sunday, March 15, starting at 10:20 am.

Your stewardship support enables UU Davis to bring special musicians like Rita Sahai to our community.

Come early to enjoy this rich music that has roots in ancient Hindu scriptures! Please enter the sanctuary quietly so we can start the morning with an attentive concert-like setting.

Throughout the year, we share our offering plate with organizations nominated by members.

Our share the plate recipient for March was selected by children in our Religious Exploration group. They selected The Weirdo Farm , an animal rights organization with a focus on Animal Sanctuary and Rescue. They aim to provide safety and security to farm animals, as well as spay and neuter services in Northern California.

One hundred percent of the plate collected on the second and fourth Sundays goes to the recipient of the month.

Children will make crafts in the Bridgehouse and parade into the Sanctuary to traditional music.
