"But the eye of their God was upon the elders of the Jews…” (Ezra 5:5) As you begin reading the book of Ezra you will find that God was watching the leaders of His people. He knew exactly what was going on and He was about to go to work to accomplish His will and purpose for Israel. He was going to use Ezra and Nehemiah to set things in motion. That reminds me of this truth, God is watching the leaders of our country as well. Now that kind of puts everything in perspective. Even when things look confusing and out of control, God can work through the circumstances to accomplish His will. It can help us to know that God knows what is going on, and listen He is still in control. I believe with all my heart, God will see that the truth will prevail and He will set all things in order in His time. So what do we do? We pray, pray, pray and keep moving forward, in obedience to His Word. Always remember He is watching you, even if no one else seems to be! To God Be the Glory! Forever and Ever! "God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good.” (Genesis 1:31) What a simple and yet profound statement. If you want to know how the worlds came to be, just read Genesis chapters one and two. And yet there are people who would say I’m uneducated and narrow minded because I believe that God is the creator of the universe. I’ll go even further than that. I believe God created it all and I believe He did it in six days just like He said. I also believe He sent His only begotten Son Jesus Christ to die on an old wooden Cross for my sins and not for my sins only but for the whole world. Not only that I believe Jesus rose on the third day, and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father to intercede for you and me and for all who by faith call upon His name. So what does that make me? Praise the Lord it makes me saved, and on my way to heaven some sweet day! Oh and one more thing, I believe Jesus is coming back just like He said He would. How about you? When He comes will you be on your way to heaven? “When Jesus steps out on a cloud to call His children, the dead in Christ shall rise to meet Him in the air, and then those that remain, shall be quickly changed. At the midnight cry, when Jesus comes again!” Praying you all have a blessed Monday!

“For thus says the High and Lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: I dwell in the high and Holy place, with him who has a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.” (Isaiah 57:15) Oh, how we need to see the truth of this verse today! We need to see the High and Lofty One and who He is! We need to see who it is that brings revival. It is the High and Lofty One whose name is Holy! Only He can revive the humble spirit! Only He can revive the contrite heart! Oh how our nation needs a Spiritual Awakening! Oh how God’s people need Revival! As we go to worship today let’s seek the face of the High and Lofty one whose name is Holy, and let’s sing with all our hearts “Hallelujah! Thine the glory! Hallelujah! Amen! Hallelujah! Thine the glory! Revive us again!” Praying you all have a blessed Lord’s Day!

“Blessed are all those who wait for Him.” (Isaiah 30:18) We live in a world that has almost completely forgotten what it means to wait. That is especially true when we must wait on the Lord. But waiting can help us learn a great deal. For instance waiting can help our faith to grow. We learn to trust in the Lord as we wait. We learn patience as we wait on the Lord. We learn that God has a very different time table than we do. We learn God doesn’t get in a hurry just because we are. We learn that not getting an instant answer to our prayers is no reason to give up on the Lord. Someone has rightly said: “Waiting on the Lord is never a waste of time.” are you waiting for the Lord to reveal something important to you? “In His time, In His time; He makes all things beautiful in His time. Lord please show me every day as you're teaching me your way, that you do just what say in your time.” Wait I say on the Lord! Praying you all have a Blessed Saturday!!

"Demas has forsaken me, having loved this present world.” (2 Tim. 4:10) In our verse this morning Paul was saddened by the fact that a trusted friend had deserted him and walked away from the Lord because he loved the things of this world more than the ministry he had been called to. Sad to say there are many Christians today who have walked away from the Lord, from their Church, and even their ministry. Because they have fallen in love with this present world, the really sad part is many don’t even realize that is what they have done. Their steps were so small and gradual they hardly even noticed it. Where are you in your walk? Hmmmm… something to think about. “When we walk with the Lord in the light of His Word what a glory He sheds on our way! Let us do His good will; He abides with us still, and with all who will trust and obey.” Praying you all have a blessed Friday!

“(Jesus) Who has gone into Heaven and is at God’s right hand, with angels, authorities and powers in submission to Him” (1 Peter 3:22) Just think about this for a moment, sooner or later the last word will be spoken on earth. At that time all debate will end and all discussion and arguments will cease. When that happens, Jesus will set all things in order. That is He will put everything and everyone in their place. Those who believe will be blessed beyond measure. There is our eternal home in heaven, eternal life with the Lord. There will be eternal rest in His presence. Oh but sad to say, those who do not believe will find out just how wrong they were. The Apostle Paul wrote, “That every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord of all!” On that day Jesus will have the final say on everything and everyone. Doesn’t it make sense to get to know Him while we can? Do you know Him? You can know Him today! If you would like to ask Jesus to be your Savior and Lord, you can message me. “If anyone is in Christ he is a new creation.” (2 Corinthians 5:17) My goodness, what a beautiful reminder of what the Lord can do for us! If we know Jesus as Savior and Lord, we have been made new by the power of God to change us and give us a new life. Praise the Lord! The very moment we were saved God gives us a new life! A new direction! A new purpose! That also means people ought to be able to see the change in our lives too! I mean, if anyone as big as God the creator of the universe gets in our lives people should be able to see the difference. Can the world see the difference Jesus has made in you? I used to love to sing this song. “There’s been a change in me, a change in me, I am not the man I used to be, old thing have passed away, since Christ has set me free. There’s been a change, a change in me.” Praying you all have a blessed Wednesday!

"It is good for me to draw near to God.” (Psalm 73:28) The Psalmist was certainly right as he wrote, “It is good for me to draw near to God.” I believe if it was good for the Psalmist, I am sure it would be good for us as well! We look at all that seems to be wrong in our country and perhaps we look for someone to blame. But here is the truth of the matter. We just need to humble ourselves and draw near to God! The answer to our problems is not found in the White House. The answer to our problem is not found In the Senate or Congress. The answer to our problem is not found in the Supreme Court. The answer is found in The Lord God Almighty and in His Word. The Bible says in 2 Chronicle 7:14, “If My people which are called by My name shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and pray and turn from their wicked ways…” That is how we draw near to the One who can truly help. “I am Thine, O lord, I have heard Thy voice, and it told Thy love to me; but I long to rise in the arms of faith, and be closer drawn to Thee. Draw me nearer, nearer, blessed Lord, to the cross where thou hast died; draw me nearer, nearer, nearer, blessed Lord, to Thy precious, bleeding side.” Praying you all have a blessed Tuesday!

“…Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why do all the faithless live at ease? ( Jeremiah 12:1) This is an age old question. Why does it seem the wicked prosper? It is perhaps a hard question for us to answer unless we turn to God’s Word. You see according to the Psalmist the wicked are set for destruction, that means in the end The Lord will set all things right. The born again believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, can look forward to Eternal Life in Heaven. Those who have never trusted Jesus as their Lord and Savior will find themselves forever in that terrible place called Hell. Oh, but Listen, no one needs to go to hell! We have been offered salvation full and free through Jesus Christ our Lord! What you must do is by faith call on Jesus to forgive you of your sin and come into your heart to save you. By faith believe Jesus died on that old rugged cross for your sin and rose from the dead according to the Scripture. Confess Jesus as your Savior and Lord and commit your life to follow Him.“Rescue the perishing, care for the dying, Jesus is merciful! Jesus will save!” Praying you all have a blessed Monday!

“I will never forget Thy precepts: for with them Thou hast quickened me.” (Psalm 119:93) Lord I will never forget Your Word, for because of it, You have saved me! Our verse today reminds us just how important God’s Word is to us. Yes, faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. It is the Word of God that is living and powerful enough to change our lives. As you read God’s word during your time of worship today, let it remind you of God’s care for you and His guidance in your life. Someone wrote, “My Bible is a guidebook true that points for me the way; that gives me courage, hope and cheer and guidance for each day.” “Thy Word is a lamp unto me feet and a light unto my path” Praying you all have a blessed Lord’s day!
