“Have you paused to consider how much you’ve grown and adapted lately?”

I am constantly impressed by the positive energy observed within my LinkedIn community,

Even on days you may not feel up to the task, you keep engaging, posting, and creating content.

For many of us, we’ve been adapting our whole lives.

I am inspired by your and dedication.

With that said, here’s 5 tools to add to your amazing for adapting in the current times:

1.) Find your routine again: structure helps to provide some level of normalcy even if the outside environment is chaotic.

2.) Adjust your goals not your motivation: treat it as a detour, not a dead end.

3.) Clean the lenses: protect your perspective of being solution focused; throw away the invitations to the negativity party.

4.) at the top and bottom: get “fully dressed” as if the client or team was present at your office.

5.) Conquer the crumbs: even the highest mountain has to be climbed one step at a time; proceed and celebrate the small wins.

“If you were a firefighter, could you extinguish the flames using a water hose the size of a drinking straw?

I don’t think so.

Even if it were the large ones used for ice cream shakes.

This is the challenge some small owners face.

We have more ideas and plans than the clock will allow us to implement.

There are at least 8-12 roles you operate under all at the same time, which can create the illusion of failure due to fatigue.

Just because you are tired doesn’t mean your business isn’t .

You still are a powerful and persistent entrepreneur.

We just need to invite , scalability, delegation over for lunch.

Before you know it, the water hose will be large enough to put out those fires in the business and you remember just how brave you are as a business owner.

“Are you more efficient working from home, or at a small hashtag co-working space?”

To me, I believe it depends on the environment, yet there are advantages to both.

For the co-working space, I see at least 3 advantages:

1.) hashtag : we are interdependent, needing the social engagement to bounce ideas and creative feedback.

2.) Connections: sometimes we find our greatest friendships, and collaborative opportunities from the in-person meetings, forming genuine connections.

3.) hashtag : There’s nothing like the healthy challenge to honor your commitment. The small financial obligation to a space, motivates us to maximize our time and effectiveness in business.

With that being said, Lean On Him Consulting is grateful for the collaborative partnership with Office Depot, as short the overview commercial of their new co-working space.

How do you define ‘winning’ in your life and ?

For some, it’s financial independence, others peace of mind.

In either case, we there are 3 things that come with “winning”:

1.) Winning comes with tears. Tears of joy from closing unbelievable deals. Tears of pain from lessons learned in business.

2.) Winning comes with towels. Towels to serve and wipe the metaphorical feet of our clients.

3.) Winning comes with triumphs. Triumphs over old habits that hindered progress, , and elevation.

“At times, it seems like the consumer and provider are at odds with each other. Why is that?”

That’s because they have opposing agendas.

What does the consumer want? - the most value, for the least amount of cost.

What does the service provider want? - the most , for the least amount of expense.

Yep, they are diametrically opposed to one another.

We call this principle, “The Battle Of The Wills”, because both seek to impose their will on the other.

This is why you can take your car to get an oil change and the mechanic looks at you like your favorite uncle died, and then list off 12 other services you need.

Yet, this also why you don’t like going out to eat with that friend who always finds hair in her food (her hair, of course) to gain a free meal.

How do you solve this? Our company has created a system which allows both sides to play fairly. No one likes to be taken advantage of, so let’s play nice.
