Making disciples is essential to carrying out the Great Commission. But Jesus did not begin reaching the world with perfect people; He began with ordinary, imperfect people who had problems. Many people claim to be Christians today, but the church is experiencing a period of unrest, falling away and corruption. We have the task of carrying out the Great Commission in the midst of this unrest, much

like Jesus did in His day. In so doing, I believe we must return to the principles and teachings of the Early Church, where the leadership taught and lived by standards based on God’s Word,
