🌅 Monday Reflection: No More Excuses, Just New Strength

Good morning, Avenue Family!

Yesterday at The Avenue, we sat by the Pool of Bethesda in John 5:1–9 and saw what happens When God Shows Up! For 38 years, that man had a "reason" for why he couldn't get up. He was waiting on the water, waiting on a helper, and waiting on his turn. But Jesus didn't ask about his history; He asked about his desire: "Do you want to get well?"

Your Monday Mandate:
Stop looking at the "pool" (the circumstances that haven't changed) and start looking at the Presence (the God who is with you right now). Jesus didn't wait for the man to get strong to give him a command; He gave the command to make him strong.

The Challenge: What "mat" are you still carrying today? What old story of "I can't" are you holding onto? Today, pick up your mat and walk. The same God who showed up at the pool is showing up at your job, in your home, and in your heart this morning.
