UPUMC Children & Family Ministries Children are a welcome and integral part of life at University Park United Methodist Church.

Beginning when they are baptized as infants, the children's programming at UPUMC provides a nurturing environment and strong Christian foundation that grows as your child grows, helping to bring their faith to life.

This weekend we encourage you to watch “Finding Nemo” or “Finding Dory” with family. Jesus used stories all the time to teach the gospel. Stories help make the abstract gospel more@concrete and memorable. Consider talking to your kids about spiritual themes in it. Say things like: What was Marlin like in the movie? Does Marlin remind you of God in any ways? If so, how? (parents share too!… you could talk about how he seeks out after Nemo to rescue him from@the effects of him running away… Marlin hopes for a homecoming, kind of like God.)

New Family Ministry Staff:
Ezri Gomez, our new Family Ministries Assistant, will begin part time work remotely doing admin! Gillian Wiley, our new Family Ministries Associate, will assist Beth with many different aspects of the children’s ministry! In January a search for a children’s minister will resume.
Reach out to either of them, starting next week!
