Mission Possible Relief Haiti

Mission Possible Relief Haiti Mission Possible is a 501c3, works with orphans and widows. We started as a disaster relief ministry in 2007.

Our desire is to share the Gospel of Christ through word and deed and to help them out of their current poverty to a future of self sufficient living. In 2010 we were led to Haiti after the horrible 7.0 earthquake that would forever change the lives of every family and child that was orphaned through this desaster. Our desire is to see people around the world saved, set free, and loved. What we be

lieve:

THE BIBLE - We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God, in all matters of faith, conduct and truth. II Timothy 3:15-17; II Peter 1:20-21

God – We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Matthew 3:16; 28:19; Luke 3:22, Ephesians 4:4-6; II Corinthians 13:14

Jesus - We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His future return in power and glory. John 1:1-4; Matthew 1:18-23; Philippians 2:5-11; Hebrews 1:1-4 & 4:14-16; II Corinthians 5:21; I Corinthians 15:3-4; Acts 1:11 & 2:22-24, Luke 24: 36-43; Acts 1:11; Mark 13:32-37

The Holy Spirit - We believe in the deity of the Holy Spirit whose indwelling enables the Christian to live a godly life. Ephesians 3:16, 17; John 16:7-15; Acts 1:8; Galatians 5:16-18 & 5:22,23; Romans 8:9-10

Man – We believe God created man in his own image and desires an intimate relationship with him. Man sinned which separated him from God who out of a deep love for His creation made a way to bridge the gap through the precious blood of His only son. Genesis 1:26-28; Romans 3:23,24, John 3:3-5,16-18

Salvation - We believe that, for the salvation of lost and sinful man, repentance of sin and faith in Jesus Christ results in regeneration by the Holy Spirit and that Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation. In His death and bodily resurrection Jesus won for us victory over death and the power of the Devil. By God’s grace and only through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ can we experience forgiveness, be made acceptable to our Holy Maker and enjoy a close relationship with Him. Titus 3:4-7; Luke 24:46-47; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 14:6; Acts 2:38; 4:12; Romans 10:10

Church - We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ and that all true believers are members of His body, the Church. Ephesians 1:22-23, 4:11-16, I Corinthians 12:12; Acts 2

Evangelism - We believe the ministry of evangelism is a responsibility of both the church and each Christian. Acts 1:8; Romans 10:9-15; Matthew 28:18-20; I Peter 3:15

GIVING THE GIFT OF CLEAN WATER AND LIFE IN HAITI!! Yesterday Mission Possible installed another clean water system in Haiti—this time at Hopital Fort Saint Michel. The hospital has 40 beds and treats several thousand people a month. 3 babies were delivered while Wesly and Prosper did the installation! Half of Haiti’s population of 12m people don’t have access to clean water. Typhus, e-coli and cholera are in the water table due to Haiti not having public water or sewer systems. Cramps, headaches, nausea and vomiting are a cruel part of daily life for 6m Haitians. These industrial 4-stage filtration systems knock out that nasty rod bacteria and give Haitians the gift of clean water! We install them in hospitals, communities, schools and churches. If you feel moved to help please go to MPRelief.org give this gift of life!! Blessings!!

To think this was twelve years ago blows me away. My first, and last, “Hotter than hell” Bike ride in Wichita Falls Texas.
And now for the Mission Possible Mexico to Canada ride, April 27 Riis myself and a handful of other crazy people ride their bikes across the United States. Yes it is for a great cause. Who will bet on how many miles a day I can ride? Who would like to donate a dollar per mile on me. I will be the SAG wagon but will also put in 10 miles a day of riding at a minimum. So what’s $10 a day right? Come on who believes in me and wants to bet that I can do 10 miles a day for 21 days. And do it in all kinds of climate and terrain. If you want to get in on the fun go to www.missionpossiblerelief.org
and place your bets. well maybe not bets, just a show of confidence that you believe in me that I can do it.

Disaster Relief Praise Report: Haiti. Mission Possible has teamed up with our great friendS Jody Johnston and Laurie Johnston with OBOV, their point man on the ground, Isaiah Lapointe and Dr. Romelus Roosevelt arrived safely Tuesday in the earthquake zone in southern Haiti with 30,000 meals and water. With the help of OBOV partner Pastor Jean Claude Thes and his wife, the team was also successful in retrieving large tents from the Les Cayes airport to provide shelter for over 30 families.

See Attached video of Isaiah and Romelus have been immediately successful in identifying families in need in the villages of Christine and Credeau in the town of Cavaillon, near the epicenter of the earthquake. As Isaiah describes in the photos, the team was able to distribute food, water, tents and even perform medical care in this hard hit area.

Mission Possible Relief sent another 100 large tents, tarps and bibles which Isaiah will pickup today!

Continue to pray for the safety and success of the team as they continue God’s work in Haiti.
