Mission Possible Relief Haiti

Mission Possible Relief Haiti Mission Possible is a 501c3, works with orphans and widows. We started as a disaster relief ministry in 2007.

Our desire is to share the Gospel of Christ through word and deed and to help them out of their current poverty to a future of self sufficient living. In 2010 we were led to Haiti after the horrible 7.0 earthquake that would forever change the lives of every family and child that was orphaned through this desaster. Our desire is to see people around the world saved, set free, and loved. What we be

lieve:

THE BIBLE - We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God, in all matters of faith, conduct and truth. II Timothy 3:15-17; II Peter 1:20-21

God – We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Matthew 3:16; 28:19; Luke 3:22, Ephesians 4:4-6; II Corinthians 13:14

Jesus - We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His future return in power and glory. John 1:1-4; Matthew 1:18-23; Philippians 2:5-11; Hebrews 1:1-4 & 4:14-16; II Corinthians 5:21; I Corinthians 15:3-4; Acts 1:11 & 2:22-24, Luke 24: 36-43; Acts 1:11; Mark 13:32-37

The Holy Spirit - We believe in the deity of the Holy Spirit whose indwelling enables the Christian to live a godly life. Ephesians 3:16, 17; John 16:7-15; Acts 1:8; Galatians 5:16-18 & 5:22,23; Romans 8:9-10

Man – We believe God created man in his own image and desires an intimate relationship with him. Man sinned which separated him from God who out of a deep love for His creation made a way to bridge the gap through the precious blood of His only son. Genesis 1:26-28; Romans 3:23,24, John 3:3-5,16-18

Salvation - We believe that, for the salvation of lost and sinful man, repentance of sin and faith in Jesus Christ results in regeneration by the Holy Spirit and that Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation. In His death and bodily resurrection Jesus won for us victory over death and the power of the Devil. By God’s grace and only through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ can we experience forgiveness, be made acceptable to our Holy Maker and enjoy a close relationship with Him. Titus 3:4-7; Luke 24:46-47; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 14:6; Acts 2:38; 4:12; Romans 10:10

Church - We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ and that all true believers are members of His body, the Church. Ephesians 1:22-23, 4:11-16, I Corinthians 12:12; Acts 2

Evangelism - We believe the ministry of evangelism is a responsibility of both the church and each Christian. Acts 1:8; Romans 10:9-15; Matthew 28:18-20; I Peter 3:15

As Lewis B. Smedes wrote, "To forgive is to set a prisoner free and discover that the prisoner was you." God loves you so much; He wants to spare you the prison of unforgiveness. By choosing to forgive from your heart in the same manner you have been forgiven, you can experience the freedom, peace, and joy that comes only by letting go of the offenses of others.

Perhaps the best real-life example of this comes from Corrie ten Boom. A couple years after World War II ended, she met a man who had been a guard at the very concentration camp she was imprisoned in for hiding Jews in her home. He had since repented of what he had done and stood before her seeking forgiveness. She wrote:

I stood there with the coldness clutching my heart.... "Jesus, help me!" I prayed silently. "I can lift my hand. I can do that much. You supply the feeling." And so woodenly, mechanically, I thrust my hand into the one stretched out to me. And as I did, an incredible thing took place. The current started in my shoulder, raced down my arm, sprang into our joined hands. And then this healing warmth seemed to flood my whole being, bringing tears to my eyes. "I forgive you, brother!" I cried. "With all my heart!" For a long moment we grasped each other's hands, the former guard and the former prisoner. I had never known God's love so intensely as I did then.

So I pray you would begin dismantling the walls of unforgiveness around you, one brick at a time. Make the choice today to lean into the Lord, reach out to others, and get involved in Heaven's business of forgiveness.

Mat 6:12 and forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us.

Mat 18:34 Then the angry king sent the man to prison to be tortured until he had paid his entire debt.
Mat 18:35 “That’s what my heavenly Father will do to you if you refuse to forgive your brothers and sisters from your heart.”

Mat 5:7 God blesses those who are merciful, for they will be shown mercy.

Jas 2:13 There will be no mercy for those who have not shown mercy to others. But if you have been merciful, God will be merciful when he judges you.
