I was inspired to share this verse, while I was studying during my devotion today, but I resisted and shared another verse in the same chapter instead.
At the end of day(night), I’m being reminded of the verse again,I was having a silent thought, a splendid idea of what I feel my next career move should be, but what if that’s not the will of God for me? No matter how amazing your next move is, except it be given from above, we’ve recieved nothing.
I can expatiate further by saying, our splendid move might be great for our “pockets” but we might not enjoy the peace we should have while been there, or the environment will take us far away from God or lead us away from our purpose.
Don’t get me wrong, Gods will and plan for us supercedes whatever splendid move we might think of, honestly we just need to ask more, preserve, trust and believe His guidance and we will be greater, at peace and have just what we need, even greater pockets. The key is to commit our next move in the hands of God and not plan ourselves, He knows more.
I pray this Bible passage sticks with us and the Holy Spirit expands it more in our hearts.
