The desire to help is great. What about getting helped. I believe there is a degree of humility that is packaged inside a human being that allows helps. Grace cannot be too far from their heart as well. Which shows that there is a degree of Godliness that is tied into receiving. Blessed are those that receive the Holy Spirit that yields for the reception of great things.

I attended a bible study last week and it was over 1 Corinthians chapter 12. To begin let me note that I should not underestimate the power. Don't overestimate the draw on my life to commit sin. Reading 1 Corinthians 12 I learned there are different kinds of gifts, working and service and to each one, the manifestation of the Holy Spirit is given for the common good. Common good means humanity, community, neighbors. If I have a ministry like James 1:27 where I serve and I am not whole, complete, then I may be ministering from that incomplete place and therefore effect those I minister to. For those this reaches be blessed in your service to others but also let both you and I be servants of kindness, love, and gentleness to ourselves.

IT IS 2019 AND I AM FIRED UP ABOUT SERVING. I DROVE THROUGH DOWNTOWN DALLAS YESTERDAY TO ATTEND THE SMALL BUSINESS EXPO AND RE-IMAGINED MYSELF BEING OF SERVICE TO THAT PARTICULAR AREA AGAIN. JAMES 1:27 HERE WE COME! I AM ASTONISHED BY MY OWN LIVELINESS TO DO THIS BUT HANDING OUT DRINKS AND FOOD IS GOOD BUT WITH GROWN I DECREE AND DECLARE THAT JAMES 1:27 WILL BE AVAILABLE ALL AROUND THE CLOCK AND THROUGHOUT THE YEAR! THAT IS A HUGE DREAM BUT...

I started James 1:27 in order to build a community around what I think is easy peasy! No joke, I read James 1:27 and I said out loud," that's not hard." I know there are bunches of individuals within my personal circle of contacts that would not hesitate to join in on some projects and or events that keep this scripture as it's focus. Thank you to all that gifted James 1:27 your time and energy! July 29th was chosen because that is my birthdate and the celebration was held in the back streets of downtown Dallas! Jamws 1:27 handed out cold bottled water, Little Caesars, and popcicles. Some friends prayed for those that neared the truck that held all the food. Some cousins passed out scriptures. My kids passed our bottled water and we all enjoyed! It is such an honor to be a giver! I was so extreamly excited when the rush of people approached us! It was happening. The moment of exchange! I was given an idea and it is coming to life right before my eyes! Many did and still do not understand and they to are playing a role in this bigger purpose. Many asked me why i was doing it. Listen to no one when God lays something on your heart! Do it..ignore those that weren't invited to the initial conversation and go reap the benefits of obeying Our Heavenly Father!
