Our Story
On July 7th. 1998 I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ into my heart, in a Texas Prison. In my younger years I was brought up in church, experienced and saw Gods power, but, that was all. While I was incarcerated I became part of an Organization (Gang) for 8 yrs. I saw many things, got involved in many things, “ things I really don’t like bringing up”. One day I was in the day room, gambling. A Brother doing time with me came and stood right in front of me, with such boldness, and said these words to me; "Jesus is looking for you!" I stared at him, and said; “ get out of my face, I don’t want to know anything about your Jesus.” He just kept on standing there, and he said this; “No, you cannot run anymore...!” 2 weeks later God placed me in a service where I listened to an Ex-Mexican Mafia gang member share his testimony. Right there in that service I couldn’t hold it any more. I was tired of living the life I was living. I gave my life, heart, over to Jesus Christ. But as soon as I made that decision, the Organization then came to me and said, " we got to kill you, you know too much.” I trusted God, I said, “if You get me out of here, I’ll come back, I will come back and Preach the Gospel. A week later a “Hit” was put on my life. But I trusted God. Remember it so clearly as if it was just yesterday. They came into the day room, it was (5) of them. I was beat down, and left for dead, but my life was in His hands.... “I had decided to follow Jesus.” On November 19th 1998 while I was laying on my bunk, God did it. I remember the speaker coming on and the voice said, “ Carrizales, number?, and I replied and gave him my number”. He then said; “Pack your stuff, you’re going home!” Glory to my God! This is only part of how God allowed us to become, “PRISONERS OF WAR WANTED INTERNATIONAL MINISTRIES INC.”
