We believe the Bible as written in its original languages (Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek) is God-inspired, infallible, and is the supreme authority of life, doctrine and conduct for all Christians. The Old Testament was the type and shadow of better things to come, and the New Testament is the perfect expression of God's will and character as demonstrated through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. The
Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit are equally Divine, self-existant, and will never contradict one other in word or deed. We believe that man was created in the image of, and as the representative figure of God. His original purpose was to have dominion over all the works of God's hands, and now Christians have been given the ministry of reconciliation between God and men. We believe there is a literal Devil (satan) and that he is the adversary of God and man, and that there are spirit beings known as angels and demons. We believe that by voluntary disobedience to the Word of God, man fell from perfection. Our sins have been remitted by the blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ and His death upon the cross. We believe that if we sin, we have an advocate with the Father, which cleanses us from all unrighteousness. We believe that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us, taking on all of our sins as His own, and that we have no righteousness of ourselves. The righteousness of Christ and His substitutionary atonement is our only justification. We believe that Jesus Christ is our sanctification. We grow in grace, holiness and power as we grow up into Him. We believe the Holy Spirit indwells believers, empowering us to live a holy life, to do the works of Christ and greater, and to meet the needs of all humanity. We believe that total healing (Spirit, soul, and body) was provided in the atonement, but must be appropriatied by faith. We believe the church is comprised of all in whom the Spirit of Christ dwells, that we are the body of Christ on earth, and that we are to, collectively and individually, grow up into Him in all things. We believe that God has called and equipped specific people to function as overseers of the church. These people have the responsibility of equipping and edifying the church for the purpose of growing us into the measure and stature of the fullness of Christ. We believe that the judgement of God has been passed on to Jesus. God is not judging anyone at this time, but there will be a final judgement at the end of the age to determine the eternity of all men. This will be conducted after the resurrection of the dead. Men will be judged on the basis of their individual relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe that we are to have faith toward God based on His Word. His fulfillment of His Word is based on His faithfulness. Our faith is that God has and will keep His word now and forever. We believe that the grace of Jesus Christ is available to all who come to Him in faith. This grace is the opportunity and ability to repent and turn to Christ for the remission of sin, and the unmerited favor of God. Repentance from dead works includes turning away from any deed done to gain favor or salvation. We believe the the Gospel of the Kingdom is what Jesus Christ proclaimed and demonstrated. We are to continue His ministry in the same manner and with the same results until the end of the age.
