We had a powerful Friday and Saturday with families that are rising up to defend their homes from the darkness of this world! 🙌🏻💪🏻
As my husband and I prepare to become parents, our desire for the new generations to know Christ become stronger. We have been in the ministry helping youth and children for over 10 years. Now we have seen the most intense and clever attacks that the devil has targeted against the new generations. The worst part of it all is that most parents aren’t even aware of half of it. We want to share with you 3 important points we shared with the families this weekend.
1. Don’t be blinded to believe normal what the rest of the world considers normal in these modern times. Now more than ever, children depend on technology for their daily living. What used to be kids normal and healthy ways to spend time, (seeing kids go outside and play, make friends their age, and never care about physical appearance) is now very rare and uncommon. Now children have become antisocial, non-verbal, and easily irritable because of their addictions to devices. This is bringing serious and dangerous consequences to their lives and families.
2. The enemy is restlessly trying to steal children’s innocence and purity. While at school children are exposed to the worst conversations of sexual activity, at home they are completely robbed of their innocence with the devices their parents have left in their hands unsupervised. Through gaming apps, youtube videos, pop up adds, AI Chatbots, online friends (predators), social media influencers, and so much more, children are learning of sexual activity from the youngest ages. Starting at 3 years old, it has become more common for a child to be exposed to sexual content through their unsupervised devices. As parents, we must be the first to take action for our children’s wellbeing and make the time, effort, and sacrifice to protect them at all costs. Their innocence is priceless and only we can protect its value and dignity. If we don’t do it then no one will.
3. Parents can transform the direction of the path their family is on if they choose to let go of their comfort and fight for their family. Children need parents who invest quality time, listen and pay attention to what is happening in their lives, and fill the void in their hearts that technology has filled. Families need parents who lead them to Christ and are able to live free from the manipulation of darkness. We need to fight for our families! 🙏🏻✨
