This fall, the people of St. John's Episcopal Church, Dallas, took up a collection so that our Matwa friends, Juma and Peninah, could have a church wedding. Mission accomplished!

PRAYER CALENDAR FOR WEDNESDAY, JULY 25

Depart Doha and after a long flight arrive in Dallas!

Philippians 4:8. Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable – if anything is excellent or praiseworthy – think about such things.

Pray for safe travels home! Pray that the work we have done would bear fruit in the lives of those we have served, and the lessons we have learned will stay with us for a lifetime.

PRAYER CALENDAR FOR TUESDAY, JULY 24

We tour Kigali and learn about the Rwandan Genocide of the 1990’s. Then, to the airport where we fly to Doha, Qatar.

Psalm 69:33-35. The LORD hears the needy and does not despise his captive people. Let heaven and earth praise him, the seas and all that move in them, for God will save Zion and rebuild the cities of Judah.

Pray with us that the Rwandan people would continue to heal from this national tragedy and that we gain an understanding of how this came to be and what must be done to prevent it in the future.

We just said goodbye to our excellent drivers, John and Kizito, who took such great care of us these past 10 days. Now we’re through security at the airport in Kigali. Tonight Doha. Tomorrow Dallas. Thank you, friends, for your prayers.
