Some events are just a trifecta of LOVE! ❤️ This one was a memorable one. Beauty Blessings Ministry hosted a charity yoga class to raise funds for toiletries for six orphanages in Mexico.
My uncle, retired fire captain Marco Marcantoni in Traverse City, Michigan, led a mission team there and built a chicken coop, 🐓 planted a garden, 🌱 taught a gnocchi class, 🍝 and shared about Jesus. 🙏
Marco has dedicated the past year to collecting scrap metal as part of a commendable "metal for meals" initiative. Through his efforts, he has managed to raise an impressive $6,000, which was used to purchase groceries for the orphanages.
During our weekend gathering, we collectively contributed toward bathroom items. These items included blow dryers, feminine hygiene products, shampoo, soap, shaving tools, and other necessary products that they currently lack. Through the generosity of our participants, we successfully raised $1,200, which enabled the missions team to purchase these items for each home.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who attended and supported the cause. ❤️ It was a delight to have family members and friends, both new and old, join us.
A special thanks to our teacher and friend, who possesses four decades of experience as a yoga instructor and graced us with her radiant energy and beautiful spirit. 🧘♀️✨🙏
