Tomorrow we begin our Summer Sermon Series on 1 Peter and would love for you to join us!
1 Peter is a letter written to believers who felt like strangers in the world around them. They were scattered, pressured, misunderstood, and in many cases suffering because of their faith in Christ. Peter calls them “exiles.” They were living on earth, but their true citizenship was in heaven. And Peter’s message to them is clear:
Don’t give up.
Don’t blend in.
Don’t lose hope.
Stand firm!!!
Tomorrow we will look at the first12 verses of chapter one. This passage is incredibly encouraging to us as believers, because it shows us our identity and our hope comes from Christ.

Good Morning WBC & IBW Men, Tomorrow is Resurrection Sunday (Easter). We serve a RISEN Savior, He is in the world today!

We will be studying Luke 24:13-35 and the experiences on the Road to Emmaus. I have entitled my message “The Road Back to Hope”. This has great application for anyone who has ever experienced hopelessness and despair. Join our church family tomorrow either at 9 or 10:45am.

ALSO, join us at Railyard Park tomorrow morning at 7am for our community sunrise service. Our guest speaker is Pastor Bruce Zimmerman. Make sure to stay afterward for a complimentary cup of “Fresh” coffee.

Our prayer Focus for today is a prayer of thankfulness for the much-needed rain and most of all for salvation that was made available through the suffering of Christ on the cross.

But He was pierced for our offenses,
He was crushed for our wrongdoings;
The punishment for our well-being was laid upon Him,
And by His wounds we are healed. Isaiah 53:5

Good Morning WBC Family, I trust you are staying safe and warm. I know we have had to make some changes to this weekend’s worship. Thanks for your understanding. We want to make sure everyone stays safe. I am looking forward to worshiping with you Sunday morning on our live-stream. In case you have not heard, we will Not be having in person services Sunday (January 25th). Our campus will be closed because of the forecast of inclement weather. Please join us on our live-stream at 10:45am.
We will continue our study through the Book of James, “Count It All Joy”. We will be in chapter one verses 19-27. As we continue the subject of Temptation, we will consider the solution and how important it is to not just know the scriptures, but to allow the Word of God to transform us. Join me as we study the scriptures together.

Good morning WBC Family.

I am so looking forward to worshiping with you tomorrow. We will be continuing our series on the Book of Colossians. We will be looking at ministering/serving Christ!. Please review chapter 1 verse 24 - Chapter 2 verse 7. As we celebrate this Labor Day Weekend, what greater subject than that of laboring for the Lord.

Our prayer request today is for all those who labor for the Kingdom. Sunday School Teachers, Preachers, Pastors, Worship Team, Sound Techs, Deacons, Elders, Staff, Welcome Team, Eyes & Ears, Bus Drivers, Nursery Workers, Outreach, Evangelists, Home Group/Small Group Leaders, Cooks, Coffee Makers, Janitors, Disciple Makers, Prayer Warriors/intercessors, etc. Anyone doing anything for the Kingdom of God, we pray for you today, knowing that your Labor is not in vain.

We proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, so that we may present every man dcomplete in Christ. 29 For this purpose also I labor, striving according to His power, which mightily works within me. (Colossians 1:28-29)

Good morning! I wanted to personally invite you to Waxahachie Bible Church. Tomorrow, we will begin our series on the Book of Colossians.

Today I am praying FOR ALL OF US! As we journey through Paul's Epistle to the church at Colossae, may we ever draw closer to Him.

Pray that we understand that Christ is Supreme in all things.

Colossians 1:18 - He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything

Pray we do not get side tracked on the things of this world.

Colossians 2:8 - See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ.

Pray that we can proclaim the Mystery of God "Christ in us, the hope of Glory!"

Colossians 1:27 - to whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
