Update from the District Advisory Council: We have reached the fourth stage of the District Superintendent Election process, “Discern Nominees.” At this time, the regional office is compiling a list of all candidates nominated in the previous stage. A resume for each candidate is added (without contacting any candidate at this point). The DAC will receive the list shortly and is scheduled to meet on April 7 to begin the process of discerning candidates.
Please continue to pray for: the leadership (DAC, Dr. Busic & Dr. Johnson) directly involved in this search process; Pray for the District Superintendent God is preparing for this position – that he or she will continually seek God’s direction for their future;
Pray for the Wentworths as they move into God’s new work for them. Ask the Lord to guide them and to assure them of His love and care.

As was previously announced, Dr. Keven Wentworth will be retiring from the District Superintendent position at the next District Assembly in July, 2026. We have truly appreciated the dedicated, visionary leadership and guidance he has given us during his tenure. We pray for God’s direction for him and Pam as they find new avenues of service in the Kingdom.

The District Advisory Council (DAC) is in the process of preparing the District for the election of our next District Superintendent at the 2026 District Assembly.

Recently, the DAC met via Zoom with Dr. David Busic (our Jurisdictional General Superintendent) and Dr. Stan Reeder (Director of the USA/Canada Region) to establish the process of selecting our new leader. Dr. Busic, Dr. Reeder, and the DAC will be working through the process over the next few months.

The DAC will be regularly communicating to the District concerning what this process looks like and how you can participate. Communication will come through email and our district website, so please be looking for those communiques.
