Last Announcement: People have been coming by and picking up their children’s Lost and Found items all week. Tomorrow is the last day for you to check these tables for things your children might have left at Jr camp. There are some bags under the table that have names on them so don’t miss looking at those as well. Monday morning these items will be moved and stored away for next year’s camper needs. They will be unavailable and considered as donations after Sunday. Only 50 more weeks until Jr Camp 2027! LOL

I hope you were able to attend the Jr Camp Service this morning. We had a wonderful time of Praise and Worship, a fascinating sermon on heaven, and were able to see about 20 people baptized. If your camper is still missing items from camp, they might be here on these tables outside the Gym. Stop by anytime day or night.

A huge shout out to our camp nurse, Cindy, and her assistant, Tim. They did such a great job this week. If you did not think to pick up your child’s medications in the Gym last night, we will have them available in the church lobby before and after the church service. See nurse Cindy. See you tomorrow for our Jr camp service. Please arrive by 10:45 am. Can’t wait to see everyone!

We are leaving our last planned stop! Time of arrival is approximately 5:30-5:45. Please go to the Worship Center and enjoy the air conditioning while you wait for the luggage to be unloaded. The doors will be unlocked at 5:30 pm and Awaken Coffee will be open in the lobby if you want to purchase a drink. Your kids will be unloaded and ushered into the Worship Center to meet you. Camp Dad (Peter Harrington) will be making announcements. You will be dismissed and each door will have a counselor matching the check in sticker you printed and hopefully saved on your phone. There are some camper stickers that have been affected by the heat. Be prepared to show your license or picture of your license with matching address to your kids please. You can also text that license to who you appointed to do the pick up. Remember it will take at least 45 minutes to have the luggage ready in the gym. Enjoy listening to the fun stories from the kids. You will get the luggage, any medication you dropped off and then exit. Lost and found items will be on tables outside the Gym on Sunday morning. Thank you again!!! Come back Sunday morning by 10:45 am for the videos, testimonies, and to visit with your campers’ counselor.

THIS Sunday morning at 11 am we invite each of you parents, grandparents, and friends to join us at Lavon Drive Baptist Church for our Camp Service! Camper cabin photos will be available, the photo of our entire group together, and the counselors look forward to meeting you!!! Come hear testimonies from counselors and campers and watch the recap videos the kids have been watching here. Jason Tester is so very talented and created amazing videos. I have enjoyed posting pictures, but there is nothing like videos to capture the week of Jr Camp! I am praying that you and your family can attend. Thursday came with another day of threatening afternoon rain, but God was SO GOOD and gave us a wonderful afternoon without rain and the campers enjoyed all this camp has to offer! I wish all of you could see firsthand how much fun your kids have and how much they learn from God’s Word. Thank you for allowing them to come.

I am sad that this week is almost over! The kids have been amazing.
