We hosted a beautiful group of mothers this weekend for our GEMAS class titled “Screen time and You”! Our former GEMAS Coordinator, Nelly Espinoza, presented a powerful class on forming healthy habits with screen use, proper parenting skills for moms whose children have access to electronic devices, and the importance of parental oversight for children on the internet and social media.

One of our clients received her Layette Gift Diaper bag and baby furniture. She has been an active participant in our GEMAS program and is almost due! Please pray for her and all our GEMAS moms!

In our Diocese encompassing 1.6 million Catholics, we are truly blessed to have such a deep bench of staff and volunteer laborers in Christ’s vineyard. Retiro de Viñedo de Raquel will take place October 23 to 25.

Viñedo de Raquel is our Spanish-language Healing After Abortion retreat, offering women, men and couples a confidential, judgment-free space to reconcile the pain of a past abortion and begin the process of healing. Professional counselors and clergy are present throughout the retreat to offer compassionate support.
