I went to Brookhaven College where I was supposed to man an outreach table for our church. When I arrived, the table had already been taken. There were at least 25 tables set up, all manned by representatives from different Texas colleges.
So I had to pivot.
I went up to several tables and started conversations with the reps. Toward the end of each conversation, I would ask them what gives them hope. They shared things like their job or their family. Then I would ask, “Can I share what gives me hope?” Every one of them said yes.
The moment I mentioned Jesus, not only did I have the attention of the person at my table, but also the surrounding tables. I intentionally chose five tables positioned to give maximum coverage to the room. Interestingly, all five tables happened to be Christians.
I asked if they had a Bible study or church home and then challenged them to share Christ with others, just as I learned from TaTaylor Steele WeaverI estimate that at least 20–25 people heard the Gospel. I also included how to trust Christ, mentioning it clearly so anyone listening at nearby tables could hear.
The Christians I spoke with said they were very encouraged — and they were a blessing back to me as well.
It was a wonderful day. Because it was Presidents’ Day, very few students were on campus. Most of the time, the tables around me didn’t have any students at them at all.
Grateful. Encouraged. Pressing on.

December 7th, 1941, was a day that shook the soul.

One time, I was talking with a friend who was, in fact, at Pearl Harbor. He told me he came up on deck that morning with tracer rounds skipping across the deck. He rushed to his station, feeding ammunition to the machine guns as fast as he could.

I asked him if he was scared.

He said something I'll never forget:

“There wasn't time to be scared. Not during the first wave. You're too busy doing what you were trained to do. The fear comes later. in the silence. when you see the second wave getting into position. That's when you finally have time to think. That's when fear shows up."

That has stuck with me for years.

And it makes me think about courage in evangelism, too.
Attitude is everything.
Training matters.

Knowing ahead of time—time after time—what the right thing is to do matters.

When the moment comes, we don't rise to the occasion…

We fall back on what we've already prepared our hearts to do. What do you think? Have you ever had one of those moments in your life where preparation overrides fear?

https://youtu.be/GrbNPb1wk6A Many Christians long to reach the world for Jesus—but most have never been shown the difference between spiritual addition and spiritual multiplication. This video breaks down that difference with clear visuals, biblical foundations, and practical disciple-making math.

Using 2 Timothy 2:2 as the anchor, we compare what happens when one believer simply adds new converts… versus what happens when disciples learn to make disciples who make disciples.
You’ll see why Jesus didn’t tell us to “collect decisions,” but to make disciples of all nations.

We walk through:
• Spiritual Addition — leading people to Christ without teaching them to do the same
• Spiritual Multiplication — a generational model of disciples who reproduce
• Why old models (like 36-generation doubling) are inspiring but unrealistic
• A modern, movement-focused approach to multiplication
• Key passages: Matthew 28:18–20, Colossians 1:28, Ephesians 4:12–16, 2 Timothy 2:2
• The million-disciple principle: why multiplication always outpaces addition

If you care about the Great Commission, disciple-making, missions, evangelism, or church growth—this illustration will reshape how you think about Kingdom impact.

Start small. Think big. Multiply.

We had a great time at Brookhaven Table this week! Even though no one signed up to be met, God still opened doors for conversations.

One young lady, when we asked why she chose her card, ended up sharing the Gospel—without even realizing it—to five students who were standing nearby waiting for class. They all stopped talking and listened as she explained how Jesus changed her life through His cross. Amazing moment.

Mandy shared with about 10 people, 5–7 times total. I had the opportunity to train on the Three Circles with Mandy and with Bill Bloodworth, a friend of Andrea’s who attended Grace Bible for years. Taylor Steele Weaver was out of town in Mexico sharing Christ there and visiting a missionary who is doing the same.

Afterwards, I met with Alex and Javier for discipleship. Alex said he’s excited to learn how to share his new faith. They brought a friend, Shelbie, who told us afterwards that she wants to keep coming!

Bill also mentioned he’d like to attend the discipleship/evangelism training with the group just to observe, everyone thought that was great.

So thankful for all God is doing!
