Safari Ya Nabii

Safari Ya Nabii By setting the tone and standard of living a Godly life through Christ Jesus. Acts 3:19-21. So, my life is dedicated to serving God in this capacity.

Vision- To lead individuals and families to the life that Christ has for them
Our mission is to see lives changed through applying the word of God to His people. Bio- Repent therefore, and turn back...God spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets long ago. I am Minister Clyde Reynard McKinney III, I am the founder of Safari Ya Nabii, a nonprofit organization for individual and family restoration. I

am a Man of God who truly has a love for missions and restoring people back to what God’s intentions are in their lives. I participate in missions in America, but really have a love for international missions. My first Missions trip was August 9- 19, 2006, where I was blessed to teach and preach in Busolwe Uganda. I have recently gone back into international mission, in 2020. God has commissioned me on three Missions’ trips in Eastern Kenya, and Uganda. I got my first introduction to the continent of Africa June 9- 19, 1993 where I traveled to Abidjan; Accra, Ghana; Banjul, The Gambia; and Dakar, Senegal. That early introduction set the tone for my drive and love for missions.

““Go in through the narrow gate, because the gate to hell is wide and the road that leads to it is easy, and there are many who travel it. But the gate to life is narrow and the way that leads to it is hard, and there are few people who find it.”

I was born in Dallas, Texas. I grew up in Oak Cliff, Texas, was reared in Tyler, Texas. I was blessed to be the first born grandson of the people my Uncle Lindsay Keith Lacy is referring to. My granny slapped me once when I was 4 and now I am 47. I still remember the day, time, place, and the offense. I have never ever ever evvvvvveeeerrrrr been hit that hard since. I was introduced to Jesus early and I still serve him till this day because it is not an option. I never once questioned my father or mother’s income!! It was never a discussion. We ate homemade meals consisting of meat, potatoes/rice, and vegetables - (which were not an optional choice). We never touched anything that did not belong to us. We never opened a refrigerator at anyone's house unless asked to do so. We were taught to respect other peoples property. And we were rewarded for acting properly.
We grew up during a time when we mowed lawns, pulled weeds, babysat, helped with all chores. We by no means were given everything we wanted. We went outside a lot (all day) to play, run with friends, play hide and seek, or went bike riding. We rarely just sat inside.
Bottled water was unheard of. If we had a Pepsi, it was in a glass bottle, and we didn’t break the bottle when finished. We saved the bottle for the return money.
We had to tell our parents where we were going, who we were going with, and be home before dark (before the street lights came on)..
You LEARNED from your parents instead of disrespecting them and treating them as if they knew absolutely nothing. What they said was LAW and you did not question it and you had better know it! We watched what we said around our elders and neighbors because we knew if we DISRESPECTED any grown-up, we would get a real good whooping, it wasn't called abuse, it was called discipline!
We held the doors for others and carried the shopping into the house. We gave up our seat for an older person without being asked.
You didn't hear swear words on the radio in songs or on TV. “Please and Thank you", were part of our daily vocabulary!
The world we live in now is just so full of people who hate and disrespect others.
Friends, consider re-posting if you're thankful for your childhood. I will never forget where I came from and only wish children and people now days, had half the chance at the fun and respect for real life we grew up with! And we were never bored!
Copied and pasted (change where YOU grew up). I received this from a good friend. This is exactly the way I grew up & I totally agree!
