Mass and Pilgrimage to Celebrate Patron Saints of the Slavic People
A pilgrimage including Mass will be celebrated at the Diocese Shrine of Saints Cyril and Methodius in Dubina, Texas on Saturday, February 11, 2023. The Mass will begin at 11:00 am, followed by a covered dish lunch and thereafter, by the Czech Catholic Foundation of Texas Annual Membership Meeting. The last two activities will be held in the KJT Hall adjacent to the church. The public is invited to attend all three of the activities of the day. If you plan to attend the luncheon, please bring a covered dish to share with the other attendees.
The Feast Day of the Apostles to the Slavs and evangelizers of our Czech and Moravian forbears, Saints Cyril and Methodius, is on the following the Tuesday, February 14, 2023.
Please plan to attend and demonstrate your support of the nearly designation Diocesan Shrine decreed by Bishop Brendan Cahill at the Mass celebrated on February 14, 2022 honoring our ethnic religious heritage and immigrant predecessors. The Shrine is a special place of prayer where graces can be gained by the special indulgences granted to places of pilgrimage.
