It’s been a while. Sit with us on a raw unedited & unscripted conversations after the statement was made over dinner “I Thought I Had More Time.”
We often tell ourselves, “I’ll do it tomorrow… next week… when life slows down”.
We assume we have more time. To fight for our marriage, forgive someone we’ve been holding onto, spend more time with our family, finally start that business, or most importantly, surrender our lives fully to Christ. But Scripture reminds us that tomorrow is never promised.
God has appointed seasons for everything (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8). Some seasons repeat themselves until we’ve learned what He is teaching us. These are tests of our faith and opportunities to grow.
Even the disciples thought they had more time with Jesus. Although He warned them repeatedly that His earthly life was coming to an end, they didn’t fully grasp how short the time truly was.
The questions brought up were:
• Can you have life with no time?
• Can you have time without life?
• Can you have life without truly living?
Our days, our opportunities, our time, and even the chances we receive are ultimately in God’s hands.
The question is “What are we doing with the time He’s given us today?”
