Young Life leaders invite... And invite... And invite. We don't give up - because we know we're inviting kids to a full life.

We invite every kid - even kids like Jamal.* Jamal* is a "jokester," as his Young Life leader calls him, at South Oak Cliff High School. He seems to always stay in and out of the principal's office.

Jamal was invited to Young Life club over and over again... but he would never show up. His teachers saw potential in him, but he kept his distance.

Finally, Jamal came to club... and loved it. Jamal will be going to Weekend Camp at LoneHollow Ranch in January - his teachers and Young Life leaders are literally paying for him to go themselves.

YoungLives is Young Life's ministry to teen moms and their babies. It's the same Young Life... + littles. That means camp, too!

Cabin time is a particularly special time at camp. Girls get to share stories in a safe space and create life-long connections. Our brave friend, Mable*, went first last summer, sharing about the challenges of becoming a teen mom. All of a sudden, the other girls felt free to share their stories and open up to their YoungLives leader/mentor.

These five girls have stuck out their sisterhood since camp. They are learning what it looks like to follow Jesus together all because Mable shared her story.
