SEEDS OF GREATNESS
OCTOBER 22ND, 2026

DAY 22:

TOPIC: EXPANSION THROUGH SERVICE

Scripture Rrading:
Mark 10:45 (KJV) - For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

DEVOTION:
Jesus placed service at the heart of true greatness. His saving sacrifice is unique, yet His example also reshapes the way His followers understand influence. Leadership in His kingdom carries a responsibility to seek the good of others.

Ask what your growth will make possible for the people you serve. Such questions help move expansion beyond personal recognition into meaningful usefulness.

Listen to the difficulty before offering a solution. Learn what people actually need, and be honest about what you can provide. Good intentions become more helpful when they are accompanied by understanding and dependable action.

Do not confuse service with the inability to set limits. Jesus’ example does not require you to accept every request or tolerate exploitation. Wise service includes appropriate boundaries, shared responsibility, and time for rest. These help you continue caring without making promises you cannot sustain.

Today, look at one area of your work through the eyes of those receiving it. Is there an unnecessary obstacle you can remove? Can you explain something more clearly or respond more respectfully? Make one practical improvement. Wider influence is worth pursuing when it increases your ability to serve faithfully. Let Christ’s humility shape your ambition, and let people encounter His kindness through the quality of your care.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, teach me to lead through service. Open my eyes to the needs around me, purify my ambition, and help me offer dependable care with humility and wisdom. Amen.

Wisdom Quote:
Greatness becomes useful when influence is placed at the service of others.

WORD OF LIFE DAILY DEVOTIONAL

DATE: WEDNESDAY 21 OCTOBER, 2026

TOPIC: THE PRAYER OF A RIGHTEOUS MAN IS POWERFUL AND EFFECTIVE

SCRIPTURE REFERENCE : “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” JAMES 5:16

FOOD FOR THE DAY: The prayer of a righteous man carries power, God answers the prayers of a righteous man

Prayer is a communication link with God. Prayer is a way of engaging the supernatural in your battle. Prayer purify the air. Prayer makes the atmosphere uncomfortable for the enemy. Prayer stir up revival in our lives and in our land.

With Prayer believers can communicate with our maker which is the Almighty God the Creator of the universe.

Prayer is good because
believers generate power and fire in the place of prayer. Any man that stay in righteousness and pray always no devil can kill him because the God of consuming fire is with him.

The prayer of a righteous man open heaven and once heaven is open miracles will be birthed.

A man of prayer is a territorial commander and he is heavenly defended, any agent of darkness that want to attack him will receive the judgement of God.

Prayer offers numerous advantages, including strengthening one's relationship with God, providing comfort and hope.

Prayer is good because
We generate power and fire in the place of prayer. Any man that stay in righteousness and pray always no devil can kill him because the God of consuming fire is with him.

God wants to hear from us and talk to us. Prayer helps us to develop a relationship with Him.

Show me a man of prayer and I will show you a man that always gives Satan mental agony.
Can I tell you the truth? In this end time If you don't spend time with God in prayer you can not fulfill destiny and that is why the Bible says "watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing but the flesh is weak " Matthew 26:41.

with prayer the believers rule their world. The scripture says whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven ( Mathew 18:18)

To pray is to dominate because the more we pray, the more we shine on earth.

James 5:16b says "the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" So for your prayer to be affective you must be born again.

The prayer of a believer is powerful and effective

PRAYER
Oh Lord thank you for your word. give me grace to pray without ceasing in Jesus name
