Good Shepherd United Methodist Church We are a church for all God's children in Dale City, VA. We are a diverse and inclusive community of faith. (Romans 12:5, NRSV)

Planted in 1966 as an intentionally integrated church, we are blessed by the depth of our diversity as we seek to share the Good News in an increasingly diverse and divided world. Good Shepherd United Methodist Church welcomes persons of any ethnic or cultural group or situation of life, from anywhere in the world. We are proud of our diversity, which enriches our Christian fellowship and service

to the community and the world. "We, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually we are members one of another."

Happy Juneteenth!

Today we celebrate June 19, 1865 — the day the last enslaved Americans in Galveston, Texas received word of their freedom, two and a half years after the Emancipation Proclamation.

Juneteenth is a holy reminder that freedom, justice, and dignity are Gospel values. As United Methodists, we are committed to the ongoing work of racial equity and justice.

Today is day three of the Virginia Annual Conference. We give thanks for all who gathered this week to seek God's will for the Church. They conclude their work tomorrow.

This Sunday Pastor MiRhang asks: "Is the Bible Reliable?"

"The word of God is living and active." — Hebrews 4:12

The Bible isn't meant to promote our agendas — it's meant to draw us to God's story of salvation. Come ready to go deeper!

We can't wait to see you tomorrow at 10:00 AM in-person or online!

This Sunday, Pastor MiRhang will explore: "Is the Bible Reliable?"

"The word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword." — Hebrews 4:12

The Bible's purpose is not to be used as a weapon — it is to call us back to God through the story of salvation that culminates in Jesus Christ.
