This final day in May was Birthday Sunday, honoring those born in May. Besides this attractive and tasty cake, we had little sandwiches, chips and beverages but best of all was the good fellowship. Whenever your birthdate may be, come to the church on Spring Valley Road before 10:30 a.m. on June 28 and you will be welcomed into the fellowship hall after worship

Being the final Sunday in April, after the worship service we gathered in the Fellowship Hall to celebrate the birthdays of all born in April. We noted today, April 26 was the 103rd birthday of Ruth Hill, who first came to this church for the Easter Worship service in 1928, served for decades as organist and in many offices and now celebrates in Heaven. We would like to welcome you too, just come to the little church in Blanton on the last day in May at 10:30 a.m.

On March 12 we had a guest speaker while Pastor Peggy and Padre Jim were visiting with kith and kin in Kentucky. In a case of what was old is new again, we welcomed Pastor David Huff of East-West Ministries, and some who have long been with the little church in Blanton may recall his tenure as pastor here a decade past.
