The purpose of this page is to unite, inform and update all the Catholics connected to Culver Town, Culver Township, Lake Maxinkuckee, Culver Academies including Culver Military Academy, Culver Girls Academy and Culver Summer School. As most of you know, In our little town of Culver we’re blessed to have Father Stephen Felicichia our Pastor and Priest of St. Mary’s Of the Lake Parish.
Father Stephen is in a unique situation caring for a mixed and diverse community of souls in “Culver” from locals to cadets to lake people. His service and dedication fills the hearts of his parishioners helping us live out our Christian life to the fullest, formed in the Traditions and Teachings of Christ and His Church.
“Our primary purpose as a parish is to serve the spiritual needs of those within our boundaries. This includes assisting the souls in our care to foster a deeper and greater relationship with Jesus Christ through prayer, the sacraments and service in charity for others. The efforts we make to support and direct growth in the Christian life among our members is primary in the work of Evangelization. The Catechism of the Catholic Church states:
“In order that the message of salvation can show the power of its truth and radiance before men, it must be authenticated by the witness of the life of Christians.” (2044)” -
