🙏 WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU DON’T FEEL LIKE PRAYING?

Life gets heavy. Problems come. Your mind won’t shut off. You don’t know what’s going to happen next—and sometimes you simply don’t know what to do.

God says: PRAY.

We would love to have you with us THIS SUNDAY as we open the Bible to Philippians 4:6–7 and look at “Praying When You Don’t Feel Like Praying.”

We’ll see how God teaches us to:

➡️ Bring EVERYTHING to Him
➡️ Pray with THANKSGIVING
➡️ Receive the PEACE OF GOD even when the problem hasn’t gone away

Worry asks, “What if?”
Faith says, “Even if—God is still God.”

Come spend Sunday with us!

📖 WHERE IS THE ROAD YOU’RE ON TAKING YOU?

Every decision is taking you somewhere.

Your habits are taking you somewhere.
Your friendships are taking you somewhere.
Your entertainment is taking you somewhere.
Your relationship with God is taking you somewhere.

This Sunday afternoon at 1:00 PM, we’ll continue our verse-by-verse study through the Book of Proverbs with **Proverbs 2:10–22**.

The Bible tells us:

“Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee.” — Proverbs 2:11 KJV

We’ll deal with some practical, straight-from-the-Bible subjects:

• Making wise decisions before you suffer the consequences
• Why comfort can make us spiritually weak
• The importance of parents actually parenting their children
• Guarding your purity and testimony
• Staying away from temptation instead of seeing how close you can get
• Choosing the path you want your life to follow

Proverbs 2 shows us that there are roads that lead toward darkness and destruction—and there is “the way of good men” and “the paths of the righteous.”

Here’s the question:

If you continue living exactly like you are living right now, where will that road take you five years from now?

Don’t just drift through the Christian life. Choose your path deliberately.

Come bring your Bible and join us. There is still something special about gathering around the Word of God and simply letting the Bible speak.

We’d love to have you with us this Sunday afternoon!

🔥 GOD ISN’T GOING TO “CATCH” YOU DOING SOMETHING!

People say, “You better be careful! What if Jesus comes back and catches you doing something wrong?”

That’s a fear tactic.

God already sees you.

He sees what you do in public.
He sees what you do in private.
He knows what you’re doing RIGHT NOW.

Jesus isn’t going to return and suddenly discover something about you that He didn’t already know.

NOTHING catches God by surprise.

So live right — not because you’re afraid Jesus might catch you — but because God already sees you.

👀 You’re not hiding anything from Him.

🔥 ASKING QUESTIONS IS A GOOD THING!

Some people act like questioning what you’ve been taught is a bad thing. It isn’t.

If what we believe is TRUE, then it ought to be able to stand up to questions.

📖 Open your Bible.
🔎 Search the Scriptures.
❓ Ask questions.
🧠 Think for yourself.

Don’t believe something simply because a preacher said it, a denomination teaches it, or you’ve heard it your entire life.

**Our FINAL AUTHORITY is the Word of God!**

Be willing to ask: **“Where does the Bible actually say that?”**

LEARN TO THINK FOR YOURSELF!

Too many Christians believe certain doctrines simply because that is what they have always been taught. But our final authority should never be a preacher, denomination, tradition, or Bible college.

Our final authority is the WORD OF GOD.

Open the Bible for yourself. Study the context. Compare Scripture with Scripture. Ask questions. Make sure that what you believe can actually be supported by the Bible.

Don’t believe something just because someone behind a pulpit said it.

📖 Study the Bible.
🔎 Search the Scriptures.
⚔️ Let God’s Word be the final authority.

LORDSHIP SALVATION IS NOT THE GOSPEL

Salvation is not earned by promising to clean up your life, surrendering every area of your life, or proving that Jesus is “Lord of your life.”

The Gospel is simple: Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again. Salvation is received by faith in Jesus Christ.

Good works should follow salvation—but good works are not the requirement for receiving salvation or keeping it.

📖 “For by grace are ye saved through faith… Not of works…” — Ephesians 2:8–9 KJV

Don’t add works to the Gospel.

Jesus paid it all. Believe on Him.

📖🔥 JOIN US THIS WEDNESDAY AT Trinity Baptist Church! 🔥📖

Need some encouragement from God's Word in the middle of your week? We would love to have you join us this Wednesday!

⛪ WEDNESDAY SERVICE TIMES:
🕚 11:00 AM
🕖 7:00 PM

📖 We will continue our verse-by-verse journey through the Book of Hosea, looking at Hosea 3 — “Bought With a Price.”

Hosea 3 gives us an incredible picture of love, faithfulness, redemption, and the price that was paid.

Gomer had been unfaithful. She had walked away. She had fallen so far that Hosea had to buy back his own wife.

Yet God told Hosea:

❤️ “Go yet, love…” — Hosea 3:1

What a picture of the love of God!

✝️ We were sinners — yet Christ loved us.
✝️ We were guilty — yet Christ came for us.
✝️ We could never save ourselves — yet Jesus paid the price.
✝️ We have failed Him — yet His grace is greater than our failures.

But Hosea 3 also confronts us with a serious question:

🔥 WHAT HAS YOUR HEART?

We can get excited about sports. 🏈
We can get excited about hunting and fishing. 🦌🎣
We can get excited about hobbies, careers, politics, entertainment, and everything else.

But what about GOD?

📖 Do we hunger for His Word?
🙏 Do we spend time in prayer?
⛪ Is church a priority?
🗣️ Are we telling others about Jesus Christ?
❤️ Does God truly have first place in our lives?

The issue isn't whether we are passionate — the issue is what we have decided deserves our passion.

Come open your King James Bible with us as we study Hosea 3 and allow God's Word to challenge our hearts.

📖 JOIN US AS WE STUDY THE BOOK OF PROVERBS!

What does the Bible say about wisdom, our decisions, our homes, our words, our work, our relationships, and the way we live every day?

The Book of Proverbs is packed with practical wisdom from God—and on Sunday afternoons at 1:00 PM, we are walking through this incredible book verse by verse and chapter by chapter.

This Sunday, we continue in Proverbs 2, where we are challenged not simply to own a Bible or hear it preached—but to seek God's wisdom, study His Word, and APPLY it to our lives.

🔥 Don't just carry the Bible—OBEY it.
🔥 Don't just hear the Bible—APPLY it.
🔥 Don't just admire the Bible—STUDY it.
🔥 Don't just defend the Bible—LIVE it.

The Bible shouldn't just change what we know—it ought to change how we LIVE.

📖 Bring your Bible.
🖊️ Bring something to take notes with.

🙏 WHY DOES HEAVEN SOMETIMES SEEM SILENT?

Have you ever prayed about something over and over again…and wondered if your prayers were even getting past the ceiling?

You prayed for your family.
You prayed for your marriage.
You prayed for direction.
You prayed for someone to be saved.
You prayed for God to change the situation.

And yet…Heaven seemed silent.

📖 Psalm 66:18 says, *“If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:”

Sometimes God says YES. Sometimes God says NO. Sometimes God says WAIT.

But the Bible also teaches us something we may not want to hear:

👉 Sometimes there are things in OUR lives that hinder our prayers.

This Sunday morning, we continue our series “Lord, Teach Us to Pray” with:

🔥 HINDRANCES TO PRAYER — When Heaven Seems Silent

We’re going to open the Bible and examine several things that can affect our prayer life:

❌ Unconfessed Sin
💔 Broken Relationships
👑 Pride
❓ Doubt
🚫 Disobedience

Before we ask, “God, why aren't You answering me?” maybe we need to ask:

“God, is there anything in ME that needs to change?”

Sometimes we spend all our time asking God to change our circumstances, when God is trying to change US.

Sometimes we’re asking God for the next step, while refusing to obey the last step He already gave us.

And sometimes the answer isn't PRAY HARDER.

Sometimes the answer is simply:

🔥 OBEY WHAT GOD HAS ALREADY TOLD YOU TO DO.

📖 Bring your Bible.
🙏 Bring your family.
❤️ Bring someone who needs encouragement in their prayer life.

There is something powerful about gathering together around the Word of God. We would love to have you with us!
