Today's Encouragement
"Remind Me" written by Apostle Gregory Crawford
Remind me, O Lord, of who I am on those days
when my pain is so great, it can't be hidden with a smile.
Remind me, O Lord, of who I am when I am at
my breaking point, when the more I try
to do the right thing, life becomes so incredibly rough.
Remind me, O Lord, of who I am when envy seeks
to reach beyond Love’s bound, when everyone around
me seems to be prospering, and I can barely get ahead.
Remind me, O Lord, of who I am when fear and doubt flood my mind,
when the potter's wheel becomes too tedious,
and I think that maybe I'm not the Christian kind.
Remind me, O Lord, of what Your tragic death on
Calvary's cross meant to me,
And the painful price You had to pay, was paid to set me free.
Remind me, O Lord, of who I am,
a child of covenant, a child of faith, a child of the King,
with Heaven's destination as my chosen home,
a place prepared just for me,
For when You remind me of these things,
I can pick myself up, wipe my tears away, and
face another day.
Then I realize just who I am and what my life
was meant to be,
For in my pain, my trials, and my troubles,
I am becoming what You desire of me.
