The following post is from Bro Joseph Means. He is asking that as many that can to come out and support him and his friends and enjoy a night of drag racing!!! It’s not that far, easy to find and plenty of concessions. Hope you all can come out and support one of your own!!! This is not a mens event, just spreading the word. Take your families also, everyone will have a great time. P.S. Don’t forget ear protection!!! I tagged a few guys that, even though you are not part of our group, you are my friends and I know you guys would would enjoy it.

July 29th at 1pm at 52 Dragway in Fort Gay, WV! Joe Means will be hosting a drag race called the Barn Find 5000. It will be all about fun and he can use our support for the event! There will be regular race cars there too so plenty of hot rods and racing to go around. 67 Rte 52, Fort Gay, WV 25514

I am planing an outing to Cincinnati on Saturday July 1st for a Padres/Reds game. I will be calling their ticket office later next week to get ticket prices and seating availability. I need you guys to let me know if there’s a good chance you will go so that I can get an idea of how many tickets we may need. You can also bring your sons and friends, so let me know how many you will need. I am not ordering them yet, that will probably be in April or May. But they always ask and set aside a block of that many tickets. Thank you in advance. I love and appreciate you all!!!!

The fishing and tent camping hasn’t really been a huge success

This Saturday, June 25th, at 8am we will be meeting at “Off The Hook Extreme” pay pond in Hurricane, WV to enjoy a day of fishing. THIS IS THE OLD FOX TROT FISH POND NOT THE ONE ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD!!! Turn off of RT 60 onto Scott Depot Road, go approximately 1 mile and turn left at the “Fox Trot Fishing Lake” sign. The cost is $25 for 12 hours, 2 pole/person limit. No fishing license needed and you can use whatever bait you want. You can bring your own minnows and they sell gold fish, night crawlers and leeches. Please text me if you intend on being there, they do have drinks and snacks, however you may also bring a small cooler with drinks/snacks if you choose. This event is open to men over 18 years old as well as sons, grandsons, nephews and friends. I look forward to fellowshipping with every one. If you have any questions feel free to reach out.

Saturday August 28th is our annual corn hole tournament. It’s at the church and will start at 4pm. We will also be grilling hamburgers and hotdogs so we will be taking donations to help cover the cost of food and drinks. If you have a set of boards, we ask that you bring them with you. We look forward to seeing you there!!!
