Rev, Mason and Barbara Barker

Rev Mason Barker went home to be with Jesus in March of 2021. His wife, Barbara, continues their work by reaching out to the lost, the hurting and the oppressed and depressed. She finds great joy in ministering to widows since she understands the loss of her most precious love one. Her greatest ministry is her children, grandchildren and yes, even many great grand c

hildren. Of course, just like Mason, she has found ministry happens wherever she goes. One on one praying and sharing with whoever she sees. Barbara has found true ministry is walking in the God kind of love. She does not allow age, sickness or even loneliness to stop her from giving freely what God has given to her. Just as God used older people such as Noah, Moses, Abraham and Sarah, she still has a spiritual burning bush to work for our Lord, Jesus Christ. Contact Barbara for Bible counselling, Bible atudies, ministering at your church or any other ministering needs.

The Believers and The Make Believers in the Church.
(Matt 13:30) Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
The wheat represents the Believers because they are worth the price Jesus paid on the cross.
The tares represents the make- believers. Through this, we see there will be people who go to church and lift their hands and make like they are serving God.These tares are doing harm to the body of Christ, because they are the ones who are always spreading gossip and pointing the finger. They will go from church to church taking the young Christians with them. The word Proselyte means one who causes separation of the body. They will slowly drain the ones who they fellowship with until the person thinks that the one causing havoc in the body.
The Wheat is profitable for growth in the church and are bringing in the people who need to come to Christ. They always encourage the young Christian and lift the Pastor.
Now the meat of this teaching is that God will be the one that in the time of harvest will separate the wheat from the tares. I teach that some people are only hurting themselves in the end. It is not my job to judge which are taress and which are wheat. So, what we do is keep praying for the ones we know by their fruit which is love.

Ok, I often get asked my opinion about the vaccination for the Covid-19. As a Christian leader, this is my opinion.
It is difficult to choose a side in this debate. I personally will not tell which side I believe is right. There is no right or wrong. It is another one of life's events that we need to make our choise based on what God speaks to our heart.

I won't voice my opinion because I don't want the consequences of another's life on my shoulders.
Many times in ministery, I am asked to counsel a person about some kind of troubling event going on in their life. My first statement is I am not a doctor. I am not trained or have a license to be a professional healer of the body or the mind.
However, I tell them, we can pray together and ask God for his leading. I would then share scripture based on the need. Then before you left, we would pray together again. Especially, we would ask for God's anointing on your life as you make the decisions needed for your problem.
Never would I say I think you should do this or do that! That would be on you to decide.
God bless you

Barb and I have been praying for so many people that are either sick or past away in the last few days.
I have been studying concerning Faith and walking in Faith. In these times we must draw near to God and hold on to faith.
Most of my morning Bible study time is spent studying Faith, and healing.
(2Ti 2:15) Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
This is one of those verses I read everyday and studying the Word will cause us to become the ones God will call on to lay hands on the sick. God uses men and women of faith because those are the ones who have the words in their heart and ready to minister healing. You might think God will use the other people to. Yes I believe God will.
This just came to me, If you were sick and needed a doctor would you not want doctor who is studying and ready with the knowledge concerning what is wrong with your body. Or maybe you would want a doctor who has not read anything or studying the things that are needed at that time you need them.
God uses those who are ready and have fresh Word. I wonder sometimes if some Christians even open the Word at all. When we preachers get together we talk about the Word more than anything else.
You really need to every day open your Bible and read a few verses and more then that get yourself some study guides, if you don't know what I am talking about just ask me I will tell you about some good study books. You see if you could just sit down and read the Bible and get all you need then you would not have need of a teacher. I know people who say I only read the Bible. I know that you cannot get all you need by just reading, you also need understanding. I am going way to long again so thanks for reading this maybe God will cause me to write more on this subject tomorrow. Love you.

A Broken Heart Still Beats ❤️
——————————————————-
When the worst things in our life happen to us,
life often feels paused.
We may feel out of our bodies.
Or like we are walking in a fog.
Our brain can’t quite process all that’s happened,
so we go into a state of shock.
But with time, reality begins to set in.
We are distraught.
The cloud of heaviness around us feels like it will never, ever lift.
How can we keep living?
How are we even still breathing?
How is our heart even working under all this pain?
Yet, the next day comes, whether we were ready for it or not.
Then the next, and the next.
We still hurt, but life keeps moving.
And at some point, so do we.
Sometimes our only choice is to keep going even
when we are mourning or completely numb.
And I think that’s one of the most amazing things
I’ve seen about humans.
We talk about how fragile we are,
but in the midst of the worst pain we experience in life...
We keep going.
It may be slowly. Heck it may be crawling.
But it’s powerful to witness.
Someone who has lost the most important thing to them, or someone who has been so hurt, they keep on living.
Why?
Because a broken heart still beats.
A grief-filled soul still breathes.
The sun still comes up the in the morning,
only to set the next night.
Life continues on.
And with time and God people do begin to heal.
The pain may still remain,
but the cloud around them lessens.
Whether it’s God’s strength or their own (or both),
I’m amazed that people keep going.
If you are currently in the process of this,
please recognize how strong you are.
My goodness, it would be so much easier to give up.
To throw in the towel and call it quits.
But you’re still here.
Even if it’s not pretty.
You’re here and you’re strong.
Keep going, friend.
This isn’t the end.
