PUMPKIN PATCH SUPPLIER UPDATE
From the farm!
Our pumpkin seeds have officially germinated, marking the exciting start of another growing season. Tiny green sprouts are now emerging from the soil, taking their first steps on a journey that will eventually lead to sprawling vines and colorful, mature pumpkins.
This year, we are growing an impressive 39 varieties of pumpkins, each with its own unique characteristics, growth habits, and harvest timeline. As expected, germination rates and emergence times vary somewhat from variety to variety. Some of our eager growers were quick to break through the soil, while others are taking a little more time to wake up and get moving.
The good news is that early plant establishment looks very promising. Strong germination and healthy seedlings provide an excellent foundation for the season ahead. Over the coming weeks, these young plants will focus on developing roots and vines before transitioning to flowering and, eventually, fruit set.
Every pumpkin begins as a tiny seed, and it's always exciting to witness this first stage of growth. While there is still plenty of work—and a little cooperation needed from Mother Nature—we are encouraged by what we are seeing so far.
We look forward to sharing updates as the vines stretch across the fields, blossoms begin to appear, and the first pumpkins start to take shape. For now, we're celebrating this important milestone: the pumpkins are up, growing, and officially on their way!
Stay tuned for more pumpkin patch progress throughout the season.
